Indoor Moby dick Xxl and Amare tech LEDs

Have you done anything with watering yet? I was considering going more automated but as for now I only use gravity.

I ran one big photo a couple months ago that I was feeding 4 times a day by the time I finished up. I just dropped a pump down in the bottom of a 15 gallon plastic barrel mixed up my newts 15 Gallons at a time. It ended up last me about three and a half days between filling up barrel. That'll be the basis of my next Auto water when I start setting up my autoflowers.

I ran the same type setup. Just hooked my pump to a bucket at ceiling height with a return so I didn't have to cycle the pump and a waterline from the bottom to feed. My resivour has a bluelab guardian hooked up and 2 air stones so it's always ready.
Can kinda see the bucket in the top and the water lines coming down to the tables.

Any pictures of the monster? Sounds sick mang

Oh yeah, I can see now.

This was a Columbian Gold, took about 6 months yielded 18.2 ounces.

Part of the reason I'm switching to autos is my first real try at it yielded 13.2 zips in less than 3 months.

that's great man. Autos done right are sick. I see a lot skimp on the pots soil and light and the yields show it. I try to use the best of the best. 100-125 per plant from start to finish.

Hmmm not sure I never ran hydro but I'm running it like coco. Promix is peat but after messing with it id say it's only about 50% the rest is coir, and perlite. Big pots is the only way to extend watering to 24 hours. Plus I feed very heavy, once flowering starts I'm giving them 1600+ ppm daily.

So you start them in final pot I assume? So if treating like coco does that mean you do a good presoak before planting? Then water everyday until run off? Keep pots real moist/wet at all times?

Yes I just use a rapid rooter cut down though. I feel they are a little to restrictive and I want the little roots to freely penetrate. So I guess it's more like a small cradle.

For the soil I do wet it. Sticking anything in dry is bad news lol. Just messing but Since I can't see the roots there really isn't a way to see if they hit dry soil so I prevent that by pre watering.

As far as watering goes I kinda go by feel of the pots weight. First few weeks there isn't need to water daily but by flower it's necessary.

Feeding and past recommendations of 25% or 50% people have always said I think was most likely geared towards autos being smaller in general. Im doing an A&b 2 part nute system at 100% strength and adding in all the extras like the bulking formula that's 0-10-10 at 1tsp per gallon every other day and not seeing any burn shows these things can take it. But they are huge. I have seen some here that would fit in a microwave and surely I wouldn't add much at all.
