Indoor Moby Dick XXL & Afghan Kush

plants get any cal/mag ? sometime that can throw off the balance but thats not what it looks like in your situation. also expect those to go beyond the 77 day mark especially the moby xxl a lot of the bigger varieties will end up closer to 85 days depending on your personal preferences

Ive got one thats got 30x and 60x but the 60x is a tiny glass and i can just make out trichome heads. I would go for a 60- 100x if you can find one

As far as looking at the trichomes I find my phone zoomed all the way in up close will get a solid picture. When I put it on the PC and zoom in a bit more I can tell between clear, milky, white, and amber in the trichs. My phone is a galaxy s5, so not exactly old or new but it gets the job done.

PH can be a real bastard, I've fought with it before. I've switched to the advanced nutrient sensei grow and bloom a&b and as long as you add the nutes in the right order and mix the solution between adding each one, the PH is always perfect. Can't tell you how much easier and more time saving it is to know your ph is always right. The AN line also grows some pretty bomb plants, though it's also pretty pricey. Tang's got some great easy schedules in the fertilizer section if you're interested, you really don't need that much of the nutrient line to grow some awesome ladies.

Hope you got the nitrogen issue worked out, your plants look pretty healthy otherwise. Even if you didn't correct the issue there's no reason to abandon any girls. I had some serious N deficiency in my last grow and the girls put out some of the frostiest bud I've ever grown, but the yield kind of sucked balls. Good luck man.

Wow hold up there...Add the nutes in the correct order? I wasn't aware there was a correct order. I'm using BioBizz Grow,Bloom and TopMax btw. Which order should I be adding them too the water?

Another question...if giving a straight water flush too cleanse the soil when problems occur how much wTer should be run through the medium? 10litre pots I'm using

Only the advanced nutrient brand had to have the nutes added in order, this is to achieve the perfect pH and so the nutes don't lock each other out before they are diluted in water. I like to shake my jug between adding each different nutrient.

When you flush you should put at least twice as much water as the size of your pot. So 10l pot equals 20l of water through it. Some people say 3 times the size of your pot depending on the density and drainage of your medium.

I think the struggling Moby Dick requires a proper flush then as I didn't give it twice the water too litre per pot. I'll give that a try in the morning and then see how she goes. Only 1 of the 2 Moby Dick are struggling just now. The other is frosting well whereas the struggling one has no frosting whatsoever. If I get 3oz between the 3 plants I'll be delighted for my first run

I'm using BioBizz AllMix

Hang in there Brother. As I said previously, it all gets easier with time and experience. My largest Afghan Kush Rider started looking like a dying plant weeks before harvest. In my case I troubleshot like this. All plants in the tent shared everything in common. Same dirt, same size pots same nutrients and same environment. So I did nothing. The plant continued to look like crap but finished just fine, I cut her monday morning, and the wet yield was 287 grams. Here are some pics to give you hope.

All the parts just before the paper bag which is where they still rest.

The effect of the first AKR I took down is fantastic and it still needs to cure.

Don't get disheartened it always has a way of working out. Good Luck and keep calm.
