new mother/clone box...
its just as tall as my flowering case and about twice as wide.. the idea behind this was simple.. i need a box to flower my photos, and a bigger veg box for my autos, mother plant, and clones... the case i was using worked perfect for the mother plant, and a few clones at a time, but no real room for anything else...
i ran out of foil tape, so the top of the box still isnt finished yet... i also ran two power strips back to back to be able to add more lights... however, with my box being cardboard, i wanted to see what kind of heat i got off this bulb before i started adding more... but, instead of adding more cfl.s, i am gonna be adding an led panel... just gotta wait till i have the cash. i think overall, this box came out perfect. it took me three hours to plan out and build. being it only cost me 50 bucks for supplies i didnt have, i would say this was def worth the time and effort put into it to build it. i normally wait till i dont have anything growing to work on boxes, but it my patience was low.. lol... i should be good to go now... lol... prolly not though... his was originally gonna be my new flowering box, but due to the lack of high wattage, it will remain as i described it previously... its basically two boxes stacked... the top box houses the lighting and exhaust fans. the bottom box is strictly "cab space". meaning every square inch of it is capable of being used. i lined the inside of the bottom box with poster board... the door is attached by velcro on the front. the are two passive intakes as well.. one on the bottom leftcorner and one the bottom right corner... i made some light traps out of card board to cover all intakes and exhaust openings... i am hoping this box will last me. i also have enough room inside of it to start practicing some dwc if i.d like to... enjoy the piks, and remember, grow boxes do not have to be expensive to make... 50 bucks and a lil ingenuity goes a long ways...
also, you can see how stealth it all looks with the flowering case in front of it... no light leaks out of my closet what so ever... boh cases are running at 67 degrees with it being 63 degrees inside the closet... any questions, feel free to ask... thanks for looking homies...
edit: still considering putting the 65 watt cfl from my breeding case in it... but the led panel is preferred...
