Grow Room Micro Auto Adventures with Mr. Sparkle

I know the TB can get big, but I guess with those small pots, you'll be good.. Have you ever topped any of your plants??

I top, prune, lst, hst, supercrop, fim, defoliate, lollipop, pretty much anything to keep them under control, or to not shade out other plants.

But really in most situations its just limiting the plant size with the pot size, and knowing when to put them into flower which i typically do at 3-5 inter-nodes for seedings, and it varies for clones, but the autos are all new to me so i still have to figure what they like. Ideally if i can get the plants to go through their whole cycle without me touching then i'm happy.

I also typically remove the odd fan leaf that is shading other plants or bud sites, and remove lower bud sites that will just end up being fluffy waste.

Sometimes things misbehave and stretch into a light, which is when ill typically supercrop, or literally make loops or S's with the stems to reduce their height, but if i notice them before hand that's when i top them, just to slow them down.

In my other box i currently have a topped Cherry Bomb, and Critical Cheese specifically because of them looking to stretch to much, and i have two crosses that misbehaved and kept stretching that i had to supercrop yesterday, and now have loops in there stems which only takes them about 1-3 days to recover from.

Sunday update:

Here's Bogan, still needs some tweaks to the programming for the watering as i am still getting it dialed with the slanted trays. the four new seedlings on the right are the autoflowers, the other three are some photoperiods that will be heading to my other box in 2-3weeks, and the mothers need a trim but i have no space so they will have to grow out some more.

Now the Quick One auto actually looks to have only about a week left, and has surprised me even with the amount of abuse it has taken, so in a couple weeks we will see how she turns out, the Mazars are lagging due to the abuse, but are coming along and should be done in probably 3 or so weeks.

This round should go better...

Will post box pics tomorrow, but today i decided to chop three ladies, one auto and two photo's in my other box, as they were all pretty much done, as in mostly cloudy trichomes and the plants were finishing out.

As stated earlier in this thread i had a few issues during its cycle, so wasn't expecting much, but it surprised me and looks good, just the yield isn't there due to those issues.

So here's the pic of the one auto.

Weekly box Pic.

Things are going along decently, the right hand most pots are still having a bit of issues getting water, but im gonna make a corrugated expanded metal mesh false bottom for the tray, which should allow all the pots to get water equally and evenly once fine tuned.

Other than that the auto mazar seedling is looking a little rough "haven't had much luck with them", but is the furthest from the water dump tube, alongside a think different with less issue , but the rest are alright.

Also the mothers needed a trim bad, so i took some clones, we'll see how they turn out as i was having issues with stem root from the media being too wet, but i put in some spacers so they wont get watered with the dump tube and made sure i squeezed out all excess water out of the media before putting it in the plastic pots i use for cloning.

We'll get it all worked out.

Well because i needed the space in Bogan i chopped one of the Auto Mazar, i had a 12/12 seedling that was getting covered up in my other box, and was being outpaced by her sisters that were in Bogan with its 18/6 schedule.

So nothing impressive, no high yields, or really well done buds, due to the issues i ran into, but i'll still share even when things don't go as intended.

She was pretty much done anyways, mainly cloudy with amber tips, still would of liked about a half a week more, but she's good enough, the other Auto Mazar is worse but she still has a week plus to go.

Update wise, i did make false bottoms for the trays to allow easier water movement, i put them back to level from slanted, and tweaked the water programing, and it looks like the girls in both boxes are enjoying the changes and are alot more evenly watered,so thumbs up for that.
