Grow Room Micro Auto Adventures with Mr. Sparkle

@mr.sparkle which pic did you win the short stuff comp with?

The dark devil

This one, it was taken a bit earlier into this thread "page 4 i believe, had a washed out non corrected photo i quickly uploaded at the time" but i wasn't updating regularly as i was doing alot of photoperiods at the time, still am, but i have photos of the grow progression just never uploaded them onto this site, but it was one of the first auto's i've tried and also the plant that changed my mind on autos, as the auto mazars i had didn't impress me, but i did run into the odd growing issue with them though.

It yielded from what i remember between 9-10g from 400ml of soilless mix

Well the C99's and Critical Kush came down today, and instead of hang drying them, i trimmed and removed the buds from the stems and put them on a rack for a initial quick dry, and when i leave on holidays ill be throwing them in jars with boveda packs, just to suck up the excess moisture, i expect the jars to still be a tad to wet once i get back but ill start slow curing them then. The other FMJ got the boot as well, mainly cause it was on a high side of the tray and dried out decently due to the water not getting to it, and it wasn't impressing me anyways, so that leaves me with a pretty much empty box apart from the one Dark Devil to move the AK48's over that are trying to take over Bogan. Would of liked all the plants to go a bit longer, but they are good enough and i needed to start drying them.

With these C99's i did a bit of experimentation, starting on the right we had the oldest and biggest clone that was topped just before going into flower, causing it to become a floppy mess of a bush that took up a lot of space, but it yielded good bud pretty much everywhere, to the one beside it being untopped, making equally nice bud, with some of the very lower stuff being a bit fluffy for these genetics but good for the amount of light that plant received and its overall canopy foot print, the next was topped right near end of stretch it was a bit weaker clone and because of that yielded less and only for that reason but was more or less the same as the others, the last one was a weak clone that still needed to grow more and i topped just before flowering, it proceeded to become a bush and would of had better bud if it didn't get crowded out, but it was still really good considering. Should get about 16-18+/- grams off the 4 plants.

As for the Critical Kush, It should yield around 10g, smell is fruity and cheesy with a bit of skunk mixed in, cant say that it makes my mouth water, more like a face scrunch and a thought of that's weird.

Here's the pics, lens was a bit dirty, so i didn't get the best shots as i had already cut and trimmed them before i looked at the pics.

Weekly update:

Bogan is now pretty empty with a couple of clones that may or may not root, some mother plants and three Bahia Black Heads

Ashla (12/12 box) is also pretty spartan, but relatively full, with the 6 AK48's and the one Auto Dark Devil, there may be some inconsistent watering due to the pots being spread away from each other some what but we will see how they do in a week, the AK48's are definitely enjoying the extra space, some show some small signs of lockout from being in Bogan, which either had to do with too high of a nute level, or that there wasn't enough dolomite lime in the last batch of mix as i didn't add any in because i figured it already had enough from previous mixes, but i may of been wrong.

Always impressive!!! I'm still surprised at how fast you can go through different strains, as if your cases were a few meters wide by a few meters wide.. lol

Update: to counter the above post

Things did Not go well for Bogan when i was away, somehow the Arduino that controls this box had the programming lock solid with it reading 10:46am and not being able to take soil readings, and it looks like it would of happened not long after i left, i have a guess at what happened but wont know till it happens again. So i came home too a crispy mess of the mothers and some struggling clones and Bahia Blackhead seedlings. The mothers are a loss, but ill have a clone of the Lemon Kush and two of the Cherry Bomb which isn't bad, even though the C99 was the one i liked most, so we will have to try out some of those C99 x Dark Devil Crosses as im out of straight C99 seeds.

So Shit happens, but time to move on, here's two pictures one of the crispy mess, and the cleaned up box, the one Bahia Blackhead is struggling more than the others but i expect it to recover, Also all the Bahia Blackheads i for some reason labeled as ak48's which they aren't, so they got corrected.

As for Ashla she did well, a couple of the plants were a bit too dry compared to the others but i expected that to possibly happen and believe i even mentioned that in my last update or so, The Dark Devil is filling out Nicely under the 12/12 but we will have to wait and see the end results though, as for the AK48's they scavenged a bit of their bottom leaves which isn't an issue with a dense canopy also looks like they would like a touch more nitrogen, but i'm gonna run as is for awhile, as i know they wont need as much after stretch, Also of the 6 seedlings all of them are female, was hoping for a couple males so i could free up space for the Bahia Blackheads, but i'm not complaining ;)
