Outdoor MI5 fem and Auto Assassin fem grow

Cool!

Planning on doing a MI5 grow later this summer up in Scandinavia. Our season starts later, jun-aug (latitude 65 degrees North)

I posted a question in another thread concerning the genetical background of MI5. I know it has AK47 and Afghani in it, but if the breeder 'Stich' can give som more info I'd be grateful. I've seen him around on the forum.

And all of you who has grown it, how many phenos could you count in one 10-pack of seeds?
@Mr. McGregor: U said you've come across a stinky pheno. How could you describe the stinkyness, pleasant or annoying? I might do some of them indoors on the windowsill just because its so convenient and nice to have them there, but if my place will smell like hell because of that I'd reconsider.

Another Q: How long does Mi5 usually take to flower and fully ripen outdoors?

Seems like this plant could reach many places in the world. I have a dream about growing pot in the polar areas, i e. north of the Polar Circle under the "Midnight Sun". Maybe this will be a good strain for that experiment...

Nothing wrong with that! I wouldn't do much pollinating myself if I didn't mind sweating out seed delivery as much as I do
I feel ya on that Joe Dirt.

glocal, Im sorry but I cannot answer any of your questions beings this is my 1st auto grow. Mine are at day 28 and just started to flower 5 days ago. They are not to smelly yet. When I took them out of the homebox this morning I could smell fruit and pine, but it was a very light smell. I am sure that will change in the next week or 2. I have see Stitch on the flash seeds thread. You should be able to send him a PM from there ;) He was talking about a new strain he just released which from my understanding was able to grow well in cooler climates. Chaze was the name of it I think. Again, I read this on the "how to grow flash seeds" thread. Best of luck on your arctic grow brother :D

The stinky phenos are the most AK47 dominant ones, they STINK!!!!! of ak47. I loves it I do, nothing bad about it unless you need to keep smells to a minimum, out of 12 beans I dont think any 2 grew the same, I have done a few seeds runs since then and have got the bush pheno stable, im in the prosses of getting the ak47 stink into the bush pheno as I lost that when going for size over smell

Ok I'll try to hunt him down on that thread...

As long as the smell isn't unpleasant I don't have a problem with it. Once I had a LR2 pheno that smelled like some rotten garbage, uuh! Since I grew it on my mother's balcony she wasn't quite happy about it when I took it in during cold or rainy days!

A nice pine smell wouldn't hurt, but that sweet fruity smell could somtimes be tiresome if you're exposed to it too much.

Yeah the first 2-3 weeks doesn't really count. It's the late bloom smell I'm talking about.

Thanks! I don't know if the arctic grow will be this year. I have a lot of LR Purple Jems seeds from last season that I might use for that experiment. They grew well up in my area. Even though I planted them as late as july they were ripe in September.

Probably won't use my mi5 seeds for any stunt experiment. Only have a ten pack from Short Stuff and that will probably mostly be for breeding purposes. I love that they offer regs, hate these femmed seeds. Love to breed my own pot. Especially with these autos there's no sense in buying femmed seeds since you can't keep a mother and make clones, so you got to make seeds instead.

So u say out of 12 seeds not a single one grew the same?! Personally I don't really care. Just more fun since you get more genetical material to chose from. I might do a cross between a mi5 male and an Easy Rider fem. Maybe that could add more of the AK47 into it?

update day 29: Since they have started to flower I am now feeding them Hesi Phosphorus plus and Hesi Bloom complex. Feeding each plant aprox 200ml every 3 days. The Assassin male I found last week became salad. I was surprised that the roots were a bit spicy, kind of like a radish :D

Thanks for dropping by and taking a peek. I look forward to next weeks update. Hopefully I will have a 400 watt CMH to replace my 600 HPS. Having some heat issues with it :(

Lookin' good man! I'll be interested to see how the cmh does. :peace:

Thanks Joe Dirt :D I am really curious as well about the CMH. I know it will bring the temps down by at least 10F beings it is 400 watt and supposedly produces less heat. If so, I will be able to do a 2nd grow this summer which has me very excited :booya: Thanks for dropping by brother :toke:

Looking really good there dwolf420 really liking the outdoor.
something i have always wanted to do but its way to risky here

cant wait to watch them flower out
looks like they have had fantastic care

Thank you much FullDuplex :) It is risky here also, but these autos are so much smaller than photos, let alone so quick I had to try and give them some sunshine love and take the risk. I have messed up with these forgiving ladies a few times, but I am very new to autos and learning quickly thanks to all the help from members here at AFN. I hope they will give us some kind canna porn in the next 30-40days :D Thanks for dropping by and taking a peek brother :)
