I'm loving the hot water bottle method! That's the kinda backwoods DIY that my budget can handle at the moment.

I'll look at staggering my grows in future I think. One of the best things about autos is the ability to run a near perpetual harvest in the one tent and it was one of the things that made me come around to them. I struggled last time as I found it difficult to raise the small plant somewhere it got enough light without hurting the others. I had to bin two puny Green Crack plants that were going to be a waste of time and money bothering to grow out.

Anyway, growth actually does seem to be beginning to speed up, they're looking well and the 4AM seems to be growing out of it's awkward start.
I'll be giving them two more waterings and begin to introduce some nutes, which will be day 19 from germ.

I'm travelling overseas for a couple of days for work and the gals will be left under the watchful eye of my girlfriend until then. She's looked after plants for a week during mid-bloom before and did a perfect job. Although she'd never admit it, i think she actually enjoyed babysitting em

been reading some great things about 4AM this week...supposedly has some of Mephisto’s loudest terps! definitely on my want-list...along with so much other stuff. it’s almost stressful trying to prioritise what to grow first

hope they’re in good hands whilst you’re away...think my missus would implode from the pressure of it!

Making me wish I'd popped the other 4AM but I'm worried about space as everyone says it's a got a bushy, wide structure and the profile and look of the SN just had me. Strawberries and Kush? Pink buds? Yuuuuus please.

Maybe I'll pop a freebie Mephisto sent (Fantasmo Express x Sour Stomper) in a few weeks and see if I can work it out. Might be nice to have another sparky sativa in the jars alongside the Tangie.

Really looking forward to seeing how you get on with the Tangie dude. I think you'll have fun with her. I should also note, that after a cure the high has really improved, a fuller, rounder and more body focused high than it gave previously. I'm impressed. Looking forward to squeezing out some rosin when I've got enough dosh for a press.
Even my gf likes it now, and she hated it at first, thought it felt like speed. She had some in her Pax last night and under very heavy eyelids commented "hey, this is a nice stone, hey I'm perfectly stoned" (about 9 times.) If that's not a good review, I dunno what is.

Not really a night time smoke IMO. It's pure sativa as far as I'm aware. If you smoke a bunch over a long period of time it's pretty sedating though. It's kind of a weird strain actually, if you're in the mood to be lifted, it'll take you there, if you wanna chill, it's got ya back. Really depends on your mood, more so than any strain I've sampled before. I'd definitely recommend it.
A strong initial euphoric lift that leaves me grinning like a goon and settles in to a heavy body chill after 30-45 mins if you want it to, if you smoke it in the day, you probably won't experience so much of that. As i said, weird strain.
Super long lasting and the most potent weed I've grown. Pretty frosty and an nice creamy citrus aroma after curing which you do taste in the smoke too.

The cure on this one much SUCH a difference, so stock up on the Bovedas! As I've mentioned before, yield was 9oz off one plant, so all the boxes were ticked. I reckon it's gonna be a great one to press rosin with.

I don't really have many good things to say about Fast Buds tbh, but this one is worth a shot for sure. I'm intrigued by their Do Si Dos though, probably gonna give that a go when it's released.

Repeating what I've already said.... I'm in Paris and scored some Zskittles off a friend which we smoked before a spectacular dinner in Le Marais.

but damn, i’ve been looking for strain that has that really strong narcotic sedation effect but with decent euphoria. the worst thing is i’ve tried a few different strains that did the trick but i don’t remember the names (they were that good lol) so until i find it the best i can come up with is blending strains and CBD suppliments but it’s not the same as “the one” and will never hit like it even if it’s a good enough approximation haha

Yeah, well I guess we can enjoy the search! I tend to find that kush strains have that sort of effect, but of course not all strains are born equal. I just saw on instagram that Mephisto will be releasing a high CBD strain in 2019, so that could be just the ticket. Hopefully it's more of a 1:1 strain than just a straight CBD. Either way I'd be keen to try it.

I've returned home to find that they're beginning to take off a little more, but we also have a problem which hopefully someone will be able to help me diagnose.

There are little brown spots appearing on the leaves, the worst of it is on one of the Strawberry Nuggets:

The other SN is looking OK:

4 AM still has it's scraggy leaves but otherwise seems alright and new growth looks a bit healthier:

Not sure what could be causing the issues, all they've had is plain water and a little cal-mag (could that be the culprit?) I've never had any issues this early on, I'm a little stumped.

I just gave them their first proper feed today, hopefully it's just a N def from not giving nutes early enough?

Hmm yeah doesn't look super great those brown spots. Is there a chance of some pics in good lighting? Indirect sunlight is best, will give us a chance to see the depth of the spots and stuff.

Can I ask is there any yellowing or grey/white/charcoal colour on these spots even if just on the edges? And do they penetrate to both side of the leaves. One of them looks almost fungal, but I've seen similar symptoms in plants with wind and light burn so it's quite hard to tell in this lighting

Maybe check out yellow leaf sephora symptoms, common this time of year especially if you've been in or live in the country or near, with all these wet these gathering on the floor outside, me and a couple of friends suffered a little. Me quite severely because my extractor broke at the same time

And maybe check air flow see if it's sufficient in both senses?
