Indoor Mephisto/Nightowl Grow

Does anyone use those jiffy peet pellets for seed starting? I am going to try those next. I can't take this waiting game going directly to your final pot. I had success last time. But this is too stressful for me lol. :coffee: :coffee2::thumbsup:

I did try to start some beans in solo cups. But I had 6 beans all sprout then die(dampen off) so I went with the final pot method. They were Seedsman freebies so maybe that had something to do with it.

That's how I start all my beans. If you want best chance of success use a seedling humidity dome and a heat mat. I use a super sprouter with an ac infinity heat mat that's hooked up to a vivosun temp controller. Works perfectly, just have to make sure the pellets stay moist not soaked, that's the hardest part for me. Only issues I ever have are dampening off due to them being too wet. I usually just leave half my tray dry and the other half with standing water to keep the humidity up.

I have the heatmat also. But I was only using it for germination.

Everyone is telling me to turn up the lights but my plants seem like they want less. They started to pray a lil then got droopy. That means too much light right? Or is it not enough light? I am using a 600 watt led on 20% power.
