Day 77

So root rot that took over this 24Ct x 3BOG is no longer an issue but I'm still handwatering just in case. The thrips fellas also seem to have gone away, but i feel there's still one or two roaming around so I'm constantly inspecting.

There were no amber trichs yet on any calyxes this weekend though majority was cloudy, so I will give it at least another week before i start choping. Will most probably do a staggered harvest.

In terms of light it's all still configured the same way for a DLI of around 38 at the tallest top with a power draw of 60 watts.

Nutes are handwaterd twice a day, at around 1.2 EC ( 450 MC, 50 Epsoms, 50 BudExplosion, 80 -100 tap). I was used to my nutes having their pH rise a bit after preparing them so i would set it at 6.0-6.1 and within 24 hours it would creep up to 6.2-6.3 and stay there, but since i stopped using CalMag this doesn't happen any more and just recently realized this. Now my nutes are staying at 6.0-6.1 which is giving me a bit of Mg def but it has been manageable.

@Nosias, thanks for the rep! I see now why Mephisto genetics is so cherished by all. An to think that this is just a freebie they don't even have in their catalogue. Can't wait to try more! What would you choose between Deez Nugs and White Chem?

Yes, they do a great job with their genetics. I have only grown a few and really like them. They are hard to get ahold of as much as I have tried to get some more. Either lady will be great. You are doing such a great great job your self. Time to smile and enjoy.

The 24Ct x 3BOG turned 84 days old today. It was showing no amber trichs on any calyx this weekend, so I didn't harvest. I was hopping to at least be able to chop the main cola since a few of its sugar leaves are already filled up with amber trichs. Oh well... I think that if the root rot had not happened, she would have already had amber trichs on calyxes by now. No rush however, but i feel next weekend at least the main cola is coming down.

On the other hand, I put another Mephisto seed to soak last Thursday (nov 26)... it's a Deez Nugs. It has been really cold lately, so i feel this new one has been a bit slow, but she's already germinated and was placed in coco (7 Lt pot) on Saturday afternoon (nov 28). She hasn't sprouted yet, but i feel by tomorrow I'll already be seeing open coty's.

For me too, I am waiting for some Amber to show up. She is looking so healthy as I keep saying. Most of my ladies take 90 - 110 days b4 I harvest. As you said you have the time.

Thanks! She did recover well from her issues and i expected them to make her go a little longer so no bummer and she smells so nice and is filling up so well I think the wait will be worth every second. And yeah, it seems she will be ready in around that time-frame you mention.

And well, while the 24Ct x 3BOG gets closer to her harvest turning 85 days old today, the Deez Nugs is just beginning her day 1:

BTW, for the light geeks, the Deez Nugs is currently placed 63 cm / 24.8 inches from the light getting 170-200 PPFD for a DLI of 11-13. Light is still dimmed to 60 Watts power draw and in a 18/6 schedule; the 24Ct x 3BOG is still getting a DLI of around 38 at the tallest cola.

Also, the 24Ct x 3BOG is still fertigated with the same EC from day 77 (1.2EC); while the coco of the Deez Nugz was precharged with MC1 at 250 ppms / 0.5 EC before placing the seen in, and will get more of this on the 5th day.
