QUICK-PIC UPDATE

24 Carat x 3 Bears OG - Day 87
Deez Nugs - Day 2

Yesterday the D.N. was leaning as if looking for light so I changed her position in the tent where she could get more light and is now getting around 225 PPFD / 14.58 DLI, and now she's straightened up. The 24Ctx3BOG will definitely be chopped next weekend, at least the main tops and let the rest of it for the a week or so later.

SAD UPDATE

I was so happy taking a look at trichomes today, taking pics with such joy, when saddly -but kinda expected- just before taking one last pic... i realized one top on the 24Ctx3BOG that had budrot.. a few leaves were all brown and rotty looking and curled up that just didn't look promising and after chopping the top and inspecting close, i found some white fluffy stuff... :face: i had always made sure VPD was in range in previous runs but this run i decided not to care much about it and with this rainy season i clearly made a dumb mistake. I knew RH was higher all along and waay out of relation to proper temps... there goes another lesson in making sure everything is in check in my own grow before going around prettending i can help others.

I didn't even try to open up the bud and see if i could save some of it.. wasn't big so i just assumed it was all contaminated. I did trim off a whole bunch of leaves to lower RH and help air flow on the remaining buds on the plant and hope there's no rot on the main cola that is at least twice as big and dense... i don't see any other rotty looking leaves anywhere so i guess i'm on time. I only wanted to harvest the main tops but i think I'll better be harvesting the whole plant tomorrow... definitely not risking any more bud loss. Might even snip some more leaves later tonight.

And well, on the other hand the Deez Nugs seems to be growing healthy.

Here are a bunch of pics from today's sad evening:

The only way I seem to learn is by being careless and then a bam sometime goes wrong. It happens to us all.

With signs of bud rot, it may be the time to harvest that girl? and cut out all the bad. you can salvage quite a bit. those buds are ripe enough.
and a reciprocating tower fan that blows on plant from top to bottom. will prevent bud rot. the one i use is 4 ft. tall.
This is an opinion.:2cents: and as we all know Opinions are like assholes we all have one. :yoinks:
BTW she is a Beauty!

Amen to that!

Thanks! Smell really sweet too!

Thanks! I will be harvesting her today... would've done it yesterday but was really tired after a long day of work. I did inspect all the remaining buds and there seems to be no signs of rot there. Is a reciprocating fan the same as an oscillating fan?
