Mephisto Genetics Mephisto Genetics in 2x2x4 under LED

looking great. be sure and pull out those roots. it can clog up the lines.

Thanks! I lifted the pot and swung them to the other side and they are no longer in the valve side of the tray... but will be monitoring to make sure they don't cause trouble.

UPDATE

Day 58 -
Since yesterday i shut off the autopot system and have done several hand waterings to get rid of the little stinky smell in the pots. I watered again from the top today and runoff is still 0.1-0.2 EC below input EC (1.47 / 735 ppm [75 tap, 600 MC1, 30 cmp, 30 be]) while it no longer smells stinky (top watering yesterday with bennies as well as today). I let the pot drain completely today and after about 3 hours i put again in the tray and activated the system.
The increase in nutes or top watering don't seem to have had any positive effects since yesterday other than removing the stinky smell. I see her a little lighter and one of the ugliest leaves it has looks a little lighter than yesterday and has more blotches/smudges.

Not sure what to do. But for now just wait and see if she gets any worse as this week progresses and do another top watering soon to make sure there's no more stink/root rot.

Some pics from today:

EDIT: My tap water is low in EC but seems to have lots of other organic stuff that is causing my plants to easily get root rot in the autopot system eventhough i'm using hydroguard at least every 7 days. It wasn't a problem before i got the autopot system. With daily-3days waterings i think the medium is being more oxigenated with each watering than in the autopot system so i guess i might need airdomes or just use botttled water or invest in some water purifying system... or just make sure to mix in some perlite into my coco to help aeration.

UPDATE

Day 63
- Well this lady is now just on hand watering from the top since last Thursday to avoid more root rot. Now there's no more stinky runoff and green seems to be coming back to the leaves and nice smells are back as well. I think my issues have been due to my coco being too fine and retaining too much moisture and not putting enough perlite/pumice at the bottom of the pot or mixed in the coco. Next time I'll make sure to put at least an inch of pumice/perlite at the bottom and mix some in the coco as well.

In terms of nutes... she has been getting 500-750ml watering 3 times per day since Thursday and her nutes have been at around 1.4 EC from which 1.1-1.2 were MCv1.
Today I prepared a new batch at same 1.4 EC / 705 ppm but with MC lowered to 1.0 EC (90 ppm tap, 500 MC1, 100 Epsom) because i see more burnt tips each day. I keep pH always between 6.0 and 6.3, ideally 6.1-6.2.

The light is till dimmed to 60 Watts, placed 23 cm / 9 inches from tallest top. Plant is getting 580 ppfd at the tallest top and 320 at lowest one for a DLI of 20-38.

Here are some pics taken today a few hours before lights out...

UPDATE

Day 67
- Seems things have picked up with this 24Carat x 3BearsOG. No more stinky runoff, green colors coming back really nicely -even on the bottom leaves that had turned almost white-, and as she keeps bulking and frosting up the smells are becoming sweeter.

Top watering still but will have to hookup to the autopot system this weekend due to an unforeseen trip... hope the rot doesn't come back. Nutes are being given at same total EC as before but recently lowered Epsoms from 100 ppm to 50 ppm and now adding 50 ppms of CalMag Pro.

Light is still at same height and still drawing just 60 Watts so DLI is still the same.

She had stopped drooping before lights out once i had lowered RH a couple weeks ago and after removing the root rot, but rainy season began here, so RH has risen up lately about 10% and plant started drooping a bit again before lights out... will be addressing this soon just to be on the safe side but temps fell a bit as well leaving VPD in a nice range so might not be too bad.

Here are some pics from today after lights out:

Looks like it's gonna be some nice smoke

Hey! Thanks for the input and rep!:bighug:

It sure is smelling really sweet and is frosting up more and more now. I'm just so happy to see how well cannabis plants recover -both autos and photos- if you are patient and careful. My last auto that i let get root rot way worse than this one turned out to be delicious and quite a big producing bush. Can't wait to put this one on my vape!

Some pics from today (Day 70)... seems to have survived the weekend on the autopot system... back to handwatering though

Today I tried using my 1600x usb microscope that i use to check for bugs and got a couple trichome pics. I had not checked them yet... some amber on leaves, but no amber ones in calyxes just mostly milky.

Not sure what that is. Pick or watch it. Great looking ladies. You have done a great great job. I like about 10 -15/20 % amber. But you can pick a bud and see. Pick a bud a day and see how you like it.

Thanks! She is definitely looking much better and recovering quite well... and my home smells like sweet guava!

I also wait for more amber, but if that thing is a nanner i might harvest earlier to avoid any more from turning up.
