QUICK UPDATE

So, the 24Ct x 3BOG was harvested this Saturday (day 89). DidN't find any more signs of bud rot. Most calyxes on top buds had at least 1 amber trich so perfect timing for me. She smells like sweeet guava. Scissor hash hit quite hard and taste as she smells.

And this Sunday, a day after the harvest, it was day 5 for the little Deez Nugz so i watered with 500 ml of the same strength nute i used to precharge the coco (250 ppm MC 1 part version 1).

UPDATE

On Saturday's harvest of the 24Ctx3BOG, i did a wet trim of most sugary leaves, only leaving very few on the buds. Those trimmed sugary leaves were all put in a paper bag and today they are mostly crispy-dry. I have passed them into a jar with a hygrometer, which right now is reading 66% RH so I'll leave open for a few hours. Before the jar, I weighed them and I'm happy to say I got 8.1 grams of nice sugary trim. It smells like very sweet guava, but in the vape its flavor is a bit over-taken by leaf taste. Effects with just 3 tokes are very pleasant for daytime and manageable to do tasks, but I see this herb being best for nighttime or watching a movie. Can't wait to try the buds!

In other news... the Deez Nugs is today on her day 8. After the 5th day watering she has been droopy specially before lights out, but seems to be doing well in general, just a bit slow as usual in my settings. Her DLI right now is around 16.20-17.5, with a PPFD of 250-270.

nice thick nugs with loadsa sparkles looks like a nice job to me good lookin roots to..A few changes in the tent led to a few extra hurdles (learning experiences) along the way.We cant rule out budrot 100%,vpd was within range,ya spotted it early,was only a lil bit ya lost,so hardly a mistake,and the good thing is its unlikely to happen again it can be moment,but unless you make a habit of it then its not a
sweet guava sounds the part :smoking:an exotic fruit round these parts,im not sure what they look like as ive only had them outa a tin can but they was mighty fine.
24ct is one of mephistos heavier leaning indicas,so i would expect this 24ctx3bog to be a nightime ish smoke another flavour in the collection of jars is allways a good thing and that was just the sugar leaf test,buds should be

You're right... I won't make a habit of it and won't be as sloppy on the next runs as i was this time.. not worth the worries. But it's definitely been a very interesting and forming run with the 24ctx3bog... still have another seed of it . And the flavor and aroma is just hitting my sweet tooth so nicely and my home smells delicious. There is a traditional sweet made from guava and sugar cane in my country... it's called "bocadillo" and this 24ctx3bog smells just like very ripe guava or like bocadillo. This is a bocadillo:

I really hope the Deez Nugs also displays a fruit profile.

24Carat x 3BearsOG Harvest Update

Last night I got the harvested 24ctx3bog buds into jars... it all weighed 75.4 g (57.3 g of nice hard nugs, rest was airy buds from the bottom)... so this plus the 8.1 gr of sugary leaves sure speaks well for what Mephistos can produce even with the issues i had this plant face.

I tried one larfy bud and the first load of it in the vaporizer produced really sweet and citrus flavors, and very very pleasant head high... a second load had me struggling to keep my eyes open. Flavor was not the same guava taste from the sugary leaves, but still really nice. @boaty mcboatface , again, thanks so much!
