Indoor Mephisto, ALF #5 x Azian Haze CBD, Jem...

Three of four Jem's showing sex, day 21ish since the shells cracked, fourth one has a strange ball looking formation starting on top. I'm guessing it is a female and the leaves curled around themselves at this point because it looks a lot like one of the others that has pistils poking out of the very top, but will keep a close eye on it just to be sure. Neither the ALF 5 CBD or the Forgotten Cookies are showing anything at this point, though they are in larger pots.

CDLC is getting going, though I can't really tell if it "stretched" or not, though it has quite a few flowering sites and nice long pistils in groups of plenty. 24C, as others suggested, is a resin factory. The very lowest sugar leaves growing out of the pre-flowers are seriously already getting frosted and its way obvious with the naked eye, but the plant just won't go vertically. I'm guessing it will be like a soda can at the end, hoping really. The Forum Stomper is somewhat ahead of the pack, pretty much done stretching it seems and getting frosted pretty nicely as well. Strawberry Nuggets just started to stretch a bit, looking like she will get way bigger than 24C. Still velvety feeling leaves to some degree.

My apologies to anyone who took offense to my self defense in "another thread". I'm a really nice and loving person, if that isn't obvious from my posts then I don't know what to tell you, but I'm pretty smart and can read between the lines and won't ever sit still if I feel like someone is being rude to me or others. So, again, sorry for my outburst of shit talking. Just remember: if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all... unless it is in defense to yourself or others, then feel free to unload.

Culled two Jem's. One had a weak stem, the other was a boy after all. The lady "looking" parts swole up overnight into ball like formations and were starting to pop out around the top of what I was hoping would be a "cola" eventually. Also, probably going to go ahead and cull the other two even though they are obviously female and strong, even though tiny. I had been patiently waiting for them to take off, but I believe the real suspect is old soil. Love KIS Organics and what they do, but the Biochar soil I bought recently (NOT DIRECT FROM KIS) is not impressing me.

To backtrack a tad (Tad lol), I bought the Water Only good stuff for my previous grow and it did great, and is doing great this time around as well with top dressed Azomite. But, I bought Biochar this most recent time around to hopefully grow yummier and heavier plants, but they are puny little nothings with worthless root networks. I wanted to at first blame the genetics, because I thought I had read Jem's were supposed to be small plants, but then I went and read more about them and I found they are supposed to go 3-4' tall. These are three weeks old and about 3" tall under a premium light, I use premium feeds, have a good environment, etc. So, I waited patiently for them to gain some size but nothing. I feel that the soil is not alive like it should be. In the past I have always used Fox Farms Root Drench and Kangaroots to get the rhizosphere rocking, but upon discovering KIS I refrained from adding things because their site speaks huge things of how alive the soil is and how it is water only. Point is, the first batch of plants did excellent in standard water only soil and I did not use any added beneficials besides RTI Mykos. These plants are puny nothings and I suspect it is the soil not being alive. So all the Biochar pots got hit with a half strength dose of both FF products to hopefully "wake" them up. If the plants show no response by tomorrow morning I will cull the other two Jem's along with the ALF 5 Azian Haze CBD which is behaving the same way and also in the Biochar soil, and the Forgotten Cookies in the same situation. Again, I did not buy this soil direct due to the extreme shipping costs, and have nothing against KIS Organics. Just pointing out that if you DON'T pay the shipping OR pick it up direct, you have no clue what you are getting or the freshness of the product.

Will be replacing the culled plants with some of the numerous seeds that I have, though moving forward I am going to simplify and call everything marijuana, cannabis, pot, weed, ganja, etc. Also, Mossy put me on timeout from the Live Eats thread for a few days because a couple people were offended by my form of self-expression/self-defense, so moving forward I will only be active within my own cocoon until I somehow figure out how to transform into a magical butterfly that can teach comprehension at a middle school level. I have a sneaky suspicion frgrower is one of the mods with a second account just trying to stir the pot. So, again, here I stay. Dunce hat on, in my corner, on timeout. :jointman:

Sorry to hear about your soil problems. I run my own super soil mix of a couple name brands with a few extras and have issues in the past with soil pests, ph and such. It’s disappointing to put forth a good deal of effort for no benefit.
Also l, I’m sorry to hear of your “time out” , whether self imposed or otherwise. This is a heavily moderated site with a real emphasis on positive vibes and decorum. Here’s hoping you can find a way to navigate within its structure, and participate in this supportive community.

It should be all squared away with the added microbes.

As far as "finding" a way to navigate and participate... that is all I have done except to defend myself once. So I'm not sure what else there is to find except a way to keep ones mouth shut when they feel attacked, even if verbally. But that is what is wrong with people, they won't even take two seconds to read and think about the context of the initial conversation and how that could be deemed offensive to another person. In this case I tried to explain that I put my heart and soul into food because my wife and step kids are sensory to the max, autism spectrum stuff that is hard to describe, except to be blunt and that she didn't ever want kids but "had" to have 3 before standing up for herself and getting divorced. So, to get them to eat something and all agree is like a nuclear holocaust every night in my house.

So, to "navigate and participate" in this sites wonders, I make something at the suggestion of the awesome Lord Green Wood, only to ad lib it from a different recipe which happened to be Anthony Bourdain. Though, I did not mention this initially in the food thread because of Dr. Bubbles loss of his best friend to suicide. That was an internal thing to me because what I read about the good Dr's homie made me wish I really knew him, and mental health is some serious stuff. So then when I make this recipe, that may have been the most delicious thing I have ever tasted in my life aside from my homemade Sukiyaki, and take the time to document it and share it with you all good people of the stoner world, and couple that with the fact that everybody in this house had a blast in the process and loved the food and there was no fighting.... so on and so on, it was magic.

So, I took offense to the fact that one person had the nerve to be a smart ass and call me out on it, though doing so rather nonchalantly, I would say. I am rather intuitive, that is just being an "EXPLETIVE".

Weed Plant getting stanky... I bought a fan and carbon filter from NWG Supply not too long ago, spent $150 and got a fan that barely blows and a clogged filter, so running with bare extraction currently and boy do I love walking into my garage. It's a real pain to try to take pics under a Platinum LED light, I have to say, so I guess I can understand why so many people get away from them, hence the lack of pictures of the weed plant midget, gooey as gum, but a micro machine. And the other weed plant is pretty sticky and a fair number of flowering sites, should be pretty yummy in a few months after the whole shebang and curing. The little weed plants that are somewhat stunted actually show response to the microbe brew and kangaroots treatment and since they are already in tiny pots, may as well let tiny plants grow. It won't cost me a dollar in supplies aside from the electricity, that other plants are already under, and I bet I can get a few grams off each one at least. New seeds sunk in about 8-10 hours respectively, need to transfer them to paper towels and let that tap root grow I guess, hate handling them that much but I'm still hesitant in planting them directly into the Biochar, although I do have peat moss solo cup sized plugs in the middle already from the prior transplants, so maybe I will try it anyway. Also of note, I cleaned up trash today while my oldest step son was in his counseling, found a Samsung Galaxy 8 and somehow managed to get it back to its rightful owner after an overnight in the rain at the bottom of a ditch.

Glad to hear the microbes are helping and that you are still going to get some nice bud for your efforts.
It may not all be due to troublesome soil @MordecaiAlliVanAllenOshea , as I am noticing my Alf5 x CBD are starting to preflower and are not more than 10 inches high. Could be my cool tent , but they will be small considering the Alfx5 is supposed to get big in small pots.,I’ll take a photo if you are interested.
