Just a little update.
I potted up the seedling 2 days a go in to 1.4 Liter square pots 17 CM deep.
Mix was 3 parts Canna Professional Plus Coco & 1 part Perlite with Vitalink Premium clay pebbles which are EC and PH stable.
When they were transplanted they got a sprinkling of "Root Grow" Mycorrhizae inoculant in the bottom of each hollow, into which the rootit sponges were inserted, thus allowing the roots to be in contact with the mycorrhizae.
They were watered and have been left to dry out a little to encourage downward root growth.
They seem to be nice and happy in their new home.
Next watering I will give them some "Maxicrop Plant Growth Stimulant" which is seaweed based and is a natural bio stimulant & is great for root developement.
Thought I would try something other than Epsome salts for my Cal-mag amendment this time and have ordered some "Density Cal-Mag Pro" which also has an Amino Treatment & a Sweetener for better flavor buds.
I haven't ever had a problem using Epsome salts but thought I would try a more targeted amendment which also includes a few other goodies in it. I shall be interested to see how it does and wether I will buy it again.
I am also running low on PH up & down, so thought I'd better buy some, I plumped for a Dutch Pro selection box lol It has PH Down Grow {Nitric Acid), PH Down Bloom {Phosphoric Acid) & PH Up {Potassium /hydroxide}.
Up until now I have used regular PH Up & Down but I was also aware that there was different types of PH Down for veg & bloom, so I thought I would try it out and see if there was a noticeable difference.
Light is 24 hours.
Temp 24 C
Relative Humidity is 40%
Height of lights above seedling is 50 CM / 20 Inches
LED's used at this time - E-Shine DS 300 in veg mode {90W actual draw.only half LEDs switched on in this mode}
- Vipar B2X3 full spectrum 150W actual draw
I did try to set the white balance but fluffed it up so pics are in pink LED mode.
I will try to get it sorted so the white balance works and post some full colour pics.
