New Grower Mephesto Group Grow: Scene 1

The 2 new Vero29's came in - lots of reworking the frame and wiring, but it's done. Here is the group today after the lights were installed (the corners are 3000k/80cri and the center two are the 3500k/90cri - best I could figure out for light distribution).
Looks awesome!!! I installed 2 more lights today too!

Well congrats! Your plants look great, setup looks nice. I had pondered getting ChilLED logic pucks with those HBG-100-48B drivers instead of the 2 new Vero's. You build the lights or purchase as a unit?

Nice n bright! Looking sharp.

So it's been a week since I took photos - this is how things are today 1/1/2019 with my squatty squad:

Grapey Walter 1 (GW1)
Day 28

...so for LST I secured and bent the stem over, curled it to the left. Lots of new leaf growth along the stem, but no idea what's supposed to happen of course.

Sour Crack 1 (SC1)
Day 27

...assuming those are girl parts visible in the second image. No idea if or how to do any training for her - too late to top? Should that even be a consideration? Defoliate?

Fantasmo Express (FE)
Day 15

Lights are lowered to 24in and I've stopped the exhaust fan during lights-out in order to keep the temps up (now sitting in lower 70's vs upper 60's). Feeding everyone ~450ppm Big Bloom and Grow Big 2-3x per week along with Recharge/CalMag. Any suggestions or observations are welcomed!

They are all looking REALLY good. Too late to top the day 27 and 28 ladies. I’d start pushing the nutes on them. I think those are pre-preflowers, but she’s getting ready. When you see the tiny wispy that’s your girl. I don’t think I’d defoliate right now, but they’re taking off, maybe in another week.

It’s the perfect time to top the day 15s. Do they have a fourth node? If you can do it in the next couple days you will be pleased. If not, just LST those as well.

And please — take my advice with a grain of salt. I answer solely from the perspective of my first grow, still a couple weeks from harvest. I’m just sharing my gut reactions.

24 inches is the way to close for the old and specific for the younger girls, that's the reason why the leaves are droopy, try to raise lights to 30 inches so leaves praise to the lights, also adding bloom nutes is too early, the haven't finished growth yet...

First thank you for the advice, I'll look at all of those issues. A couple of questions for you:

First is, would turning down the light power accomplish the same as raising them? (also they were due for and were just watered before the photos and sprayed with water contributing to the droop).

Second, FF Big Bloom (predominantly worm castings and bat guano which is in the starting soil) is something recommend through the entire grow in differing concentrations, both by the manufacturer and from user reports. Do you consider it appropriate for flower stage only? If so what should they be fed?

1. Yes, if you have dimmable option on lights i would reduce about 25%, leaves have to raise towards lights...
2. I'm sorry bro, but EU grower here and not used to US soil and ferts, but in general you can say week 1-6 ved nutes after that switch to bloom nutes and all conditions habe to be calculated in, but looks like you've done your homework....

Well it's been 6 days, everyone is progressing along. I've done a couple of tops and more LST. Also tried FIMing one, pretty much a double miss I think. Roots out of the sides and bottom of pots was unexpected...

GW1 - D33 (LST into a short spiral - see what that looks like)

GW2 - D25 (topped about 5 days ago, )

SC1 - D32 (so she's into pre-flower?)

SC2 - D24 (a likely FIM abortion - don't think I cut enough, who knows)

GT1 - D25

FE1 - D25 (topped 5 days go, been trying to open it up w/ LST - the 2 new center stalks - bend or keep straight?)

Anyway, things are okay - been adding more nutes (~800ppm) twice a week, they seem okay with it. SC1 is almost 5 weeks and into pre-flower - FF suggests the start of blooming nutes?
