Just slapping some better pics up for Greta reaching the end of her cycle, as i mentioned in the early hours this mornings she’s just getting a small dry period after a rare feed to run off, probably one or two more feeds and then flushed with pHd water. She’s 68 days old currently and i expect her to run 77-82 days tops.
Lots of pics, many different angles and lightings.

Also we have a pic of the forming buds on Tilda as i couldn’t get a good one earlier.

Her buds as you can see are already forming much denser and she’s responding to the feeding schedule admirably.
I am currently light training her to be a little taller.

So a long day of work done but still a little more to be done!

The bigger tent is up! and my space to move in my room is now very limited.

The tape measure really didn’t show how imposing such a big tent can be in you bedroom lol!
Will have to work something else out soon but it will do for now!

Probably could have done with a little help too!

Also was finally able to do the LST on amelia the way i wanted and she really is set up for success i believe.
A few pics of her training including a double cropped sidebranch with as much dominance as the main stem, all this achieved without removing any lead sidebranching!
Quite pleased.

And here we have the grow space being utilised to its potential! Smaller tents are down for now.

Got both LED panels in there now, with great light coverage.

along with one fan extracting about 150m3 through one carbon filter, and another running around 80m3 through a smaller filter as my old 282m3 fan doesn’t seem to be working anymore, it was left in the loft. I’ll see if i can fix it and get the bigger filter in there soon as this isn’t ideal as it’s going to cost a little more than i would like.

Also got a small dehumidifier next to Greta to make sure the air doesn’t get too wet with all the plants in there.

We also have Greta, 10 weeks old today.
Im going to let her go another week on feed and then clean water as she’s just finishing up production.
She stinks to high heavens and when i open the tent it’s like christmas morning, an array of fruits and cheeses topped with earthy pine forest. Absolutely lovely!

I have also upgraded my lineup to full Biobizz, with Alg-a-mic replacing Vitalink Calmag, some Bio-vera, and the addition of intermittent uses of Grow and fish mix during veg and a pH pen calibration kit for more accurate readings than recalibration with distilled water

I don’t doubt it, every time i go in there i see how much wider my plants are growing to accommodate for the better light coverage!

Got my relatively cheap knock off desktop vaporiser to replace the last one i sat on is now on its way that i’ve found to be as good as the original more expensive bulb type vapes. Yet another little gift to myself to go along with the plants im growing! Fun times!

Hey there AFN,
A little post christmas update on my little garden, lots of improvement of equipment and practices as a result. Got myself a propagator and a few herbs and spices to grow in my tent under the canopy of the plants to aid in natural pest control, and plans to utilise the extra space and light growing some low-light veg. Updates on that to follow once i figure out how i’m going to arrange things in there!

A very happy tent in general.

Just a few pics of Greta here day 74. I think that she will be getting a few more days on the fees than i thought, but still she is very nearly done. Lots of trichs are now amber but she is still putting on a tiny bit of weight and expect that she will continue to even after i put her on flush within the next week. She is currently taking 0.5ml biogrow, 2.5-3ml biobloom, 2ml Topmax and 5ml Alg-a-mic and honestly she seems generally unhappy about something but i’m not sure exactly what it is, but buds are growing really nicely as you can see so it really doesn’t bother me.

And also we have Tilda, day 70 in soil (though these pics are from late last night) and she seems to be producing some very squat and dense buds.
She seems to be a very different pheno of blueberry compared to Val, as while she is growing very well she looks very different.
Despite being given much higher levels of feed than Val she is showing no signs of toxicity and has a very healthy shade of green. She is now taking 1ml bio grow and 0.75ml of fish mix (given on alternate feeds to mix up sources), 1.5ml bio Bloom, 1ml Topmax and 3ml Alg-a-mic. The Alg-a-mic does actually show pretty good improvement and much better transpiration with extraction increased to compensate.

And we have Broomehilda, day 47 in soil. Throwing up some pistils and seems to be transitioning into full flower with stretching coming on nicely and she’s brushed out wonderfully. Removed all lower budsites and given her a mild defoliation.

We also have Amelia, day 39 in soil. Coming on amazingly and starting to stretch and throw out lots of pistils.
Her structure is nice and even with the straight LST.

What will you be using to flush? I just ordered some Flawless Finish as I saw it on a deal and everyone on AFN keeps raving about it.

What herbs and spices are you adding? Sounds intriguing...

So on Greta I’m just going to be doing pH’d water, but i have been considering buying some F.Fin. like you but since i’m in the process of overhauling most of my growing kit and practices it’s costing a lot of cash and a straight water flush seems to work well.
From what i understand from looking into the Biobizz lineup due to a portion of the feed being slower releasing, it should be enough in the last feed to see her through 5 days and giving her a few days on top to start using any excess. It seems that’s what most using organic products seem to do.
Still i want to buy a sample of Flawless Finish, maybe do a side by side comparison for Biobizz using the Candy Dawg and spares from the upcoming Seedstockers battle and see if the difference is noticeable before i splurge on a bulk amount of it. I’m glad i did that with the Calmag i tried and Biobizz Alg-a-mic because i learnt that the Alg-a-mic is really good and i just got a huge bottle for dirt cheap using a voucher lol

Sorry, i’ve just smoked some Super Silver Haze and it makes me stone-ramble haha
Also right now I’ve got some Thai Basil germinating which for the life of me i can’t remember it’s benefit to the grow envrionment i’ll have to get back to you I’m also going to be setting up some reflective trellising on the walls of the tent to grow some vine chillies of some kind, but i have to go through all my less fun seeds and see which ones are compatible and which ones have any additional uses and such. It’s been a long time since i last grew any plants in pots let alone in a tent and i have quite a few species in cold storage that will still be viable so its gonna take a while!


I’ll have to keep an eye on your thread to see what you make of the flushing aid

Okay guys this is it!
Greta day 75 and she’s ready for the flush with amber in the zone of 25-50%, hopefully it will be the heavy space-out weed i’m looking for by the time the flush is through though from what the microscope is telling me i could have started the flush maybe 2 days ago if i had looked a little closer lol
Either way i’m happy with how she’s turned out and i should get quite a bit of lovely fruity/sweet/minty cheese as she smells

Tilda is now 61 days old and still hasn’t stretched much. However she is putting on far more weight and density than Val ever did by this age. She still has a few weeks left but if i’m honest she isn’t the biggest of plants despite the vast root system and extremely strong and woody stems

Broomehilda day 49 in soil and she is really starting to take off. She has bushed out wonderfully and has had her last defoliation besides maybe a small nip and tuck. Lower bud sites were removed.

Amelia day 40 in soil and she is really taking off. The upward stretch hasn’t begun and she has had a light defoliation. Lower bud sites removed.

Augusta day 32 in soil and entering into bloom already. She is bushing out nicely and recovered from a split stem i repaired with string, stake and vaseline as i had run out of tape.
