Individual photos of some of the girls.

One of the widest plants I have grown in this space. She just wanted to stretch out
Mango Smile a Sativa dominant strain from Mephisto. Looking very similar to the plant I grew last year.

The taller of the SB & Funk strains from @Twenty20 Adam is really solid. Her sister looks the same, just a touch shorter. Pretty standard structure, not tall and thin, not short and fat.

This is the Orange Sherbet from FastBuds. Nice tall girl. She was quite short at the mid way point in veg. Stretched quite a bit here in the last two weeks. Supppsed to be some really nice herb. Can’t wait to see how she turns out.

Here is the 4 ass monkey x Walter White from Mephisto. Nice looking buds on her. A little ahead of everyone else, except maybe the Mephisto’s Wedding. All happy plants, clearly taking on their unique genetic traits. Going to be a really fun harvest with lots of color, I hope .

Should be a frosty one. She kind of has a similar smell to Northern Lights strain, but it’s early and those terps haven’t really matured yet.

Standard procedure right now in the ManCave. I will keep documenting each step of the way. Glad you could stop by.

Thanks, yeah, this grow us actually the best start I have ever had. Going fast too

I had to raise lights for first time in the space. It was always built in if necessary. This grow they got tall. I should have topped them all one node earlier.

Day 42 Raise the lights

So I did raise them, but not intensity, the height. These plants just needed some more space, and the ManCave was designed to have space for plants like this.

I will definitely remember to top them one node earlier at 4 and 5. Instead of 5 & 6. I did recognize that some didn’t need it at all, but a couple of these new strains got me.

Ppfd adjusted to around 650-750 max at tops of all plants. I am sure they will like the lights being lifted.
The Orange Sherbrt showing some CalMag deficiency , due to the lights is what really triggered me to make the adjustment. All lights lifted to maximum height, for the most part.

Plenty of room now for them to be able to relax and flower out nicely

Day 46 Lots to like in here

Sorry the camera must have had a smudge on it…
All looking very happy after standard procedure today in feeding.
RO water with CalMag plus. These next two weeks they will demand a lot if CalMag and this is often when grows go sideways for some. Hopefully we are ready this time.

Both CaliBubbas looking very happy. #1 smells like a sweet candy funk, but #2 smells like sweet bubblegum candy from the 70’s or 80’s. Going to really like that one, I think.

Dos si dos finally stopped her stretch. Should start adding some weight and frost from here out.

The SB Banana from FastBuds is huge. Tons of bud on her. Let’s hope it some dank stuff. It’s supposed to be north of 20% THC. here’s hoping…

Orange Sherbet, the only plant that showed a deficiency at all. I think she got close to the light and then had a CalMag episode
Should be ok now as she was repositioned in the room.

The SB Cheesecake from BF is also massive. She smells like wild strawberries right now. We didn’t get this phenotype the last time we grew her. I think this is the most desirable of the two versions.
All looking on point. I will try to get some better photos and closeups In the coming days and weeks.

Day 49

Lots of bud sites in here.
All looking good. Small signs of the CalMag deficiency are showing, so I need to make a note and try to keep concentration just a touch higher. I will find another solution for this going forward. At this point, CalMag deficiency is my only issue, and not on all strains, just some are more demanding than others.

CaliBubba is my favorite plant in here so far. ☮ sweet bubblegum and some stank…

SB & Funk from @Twenty20 Adam , same as the CaliBubba, looking really frosty. Almost no smell thoughnot sure what’s up with that. Never really seen a plant this frosty with almost no smell to it?? Both SB & Funk are the same.

My second favorite plant is the Mephisto’s Wedding . Going to be some stank bud. It has the classic CDLC smell, with that burnt rubber, and still the sweetness of the wedding cake and its vanilla exhale goodness. Sounds gross, but is Yummy stuff!

These two giants in the back, the SB Banana from FastBuds, and the Dos si dos from Barney’s Farm are just getting their kegs underneath them. Looks like they will take a touch longer. Looking healthy. Only a small tinge of CalMag deficiency on the Dos si dos because she got too close to the light earlier. Should be fine from here on out.

The Orange Sherbet is starting to add some weight to her buds. I really like the smell. Definitely an orange skunk thing going on.

SB Cheesecake is forming a more conical shape bud structure from her Sativa roots. This was the plant I saw in the website. Tall, frosty girl full of buds. She smells like wild SB right now

4 ass monkey x Walter White super sticky icky. Gas ️ and some sweet citrus. Smells a little like lemon Pledge to me

The main on the Strawbba the Hutt looks so nice. All bud from top to bottom. Nice frost as well.

The Mango Smile is up front here in left. Bruce Banner behind her as well as the Mango Smile x 3BOG. All smelling sweet and on point with no deficiencies.

I think the main reason for the CalMag deficiency is a light issue. I turned the lights down just a touch, more in the 450-500 ppfd on most tops.

If an organic grow is done properly with lights, airflow, and water, there won’t be any deficiencies. I trust that my regimen is solid.

Plus, the plants with the deficiency are the ones who had the most light stress. Also, they’re slightly burnt tips on all plants that are taller. Signs that they were up taking too fast and gave themselves too much food, my fault though…

I am writing this here for future me as much as you guys! I want to document each step. I will actually reduce the CalMag plus as well.

I think this will get me back in that optimal zone again. It’s good to learn. I definitely pushed the light a touch, and now I know that less is better with autos.

Day 51 Standard Procedure

It’s that time of morning…feeding time. They are only getting RO water with a little CalMag and a little molasses. The light levels have been dropped to avoid any more CalMag issues. All looking happy and healthy.

They are just bulking up now and adding weight to the flowers. It’s really beautiful in here. I have my rocking chair set and often sit with a coffee and a vape to enjoy the light and the plants.

Time for close ups

Mephisto’s Wedding is out front in terms of development. Looks like she only has a couple weeks left. We will see if she fades into the yellow and rust colors like last time.

Next to her is the tall and luscious SB Cheesecake by Barney’s Farm. Looks just like the plant I saw on their website, so happy about that. She is starting to frost up and smells like those little wild strawberries . Yummy

Moving to the right one more spot in the back is the Orange Sherbet. Even though she got hammered by the light, she is recovering well. Smells like some citrusy funk at this time. I think I might like her…

One more spot over is the giant SB Banana from FastBuds. She is huge with a ton of bud sites. Let’s see how she moves forward. Slow growing and will probably be the last to finish up in December.

The Dos si dos is a pretty buce size plant too, but looks smaller next to the giant SBB.
Just putting her flowers together, but she has super long pistils and I believe her buds will be pretty nice size in the end.

Back to the far left in the middle, Bruce Banner doing her thing. Hmm a Bruce that’s actually a girl… now you know why we named her Caitlyn , sorry, I digress.

The MS x 3BOG is small, but she’s plugging along. Still plenty of time. Super yummy terpenes. One of my top 5 all time!

The Strawbba the Hutt is chugging out some bulky buds. Good daytime smoke, but the terps are a little on the bitter side for me. Going to be a rosin candidate though

4 ass monkey x Walter White is starting to flip her positions, but there’s still plenty of growth. Another 3 weeks minimum.
Nobody showing any signs of leaf fade in the room yet. We shall see…

This Critical 2.0 is lack luster in relation to everyone else. Nice terpenes though. Just a nice sweet skunk smell to her right now.

CaliBubba #1 is a sweet berry funk with some real depth to the skunk finish. Top notch smoke right there.

Next to her up front on the right is her sister. CaliBubba #2 is my favorite plant in the room. Sweet bubblegum skunk.

Terpenes are super complex too. Lots going on in there. @Twenty20 Adam these genetics are no joke. I am buying seeds from you guys Heard good stuff about Vidamints 1:1 and I other strains I heard I have to try.

SB& Funk looking on point too. Love the Twenty20 strains. They seem to like organic style growing. They just look like classic plants with good size, frost levels and structure.

Sour Stomper x Double Grape, one of my favorite daytime strains. Not huge, but trucking along nicely.
