Indoor Mdanzig's Sour60

Thanks for the kind words fellas. I hope they keep at it.

I Thought so too. It would be typical.. Biggest best looking grows both parts. We'll see.. My initial feeling was male. But i see more hairs even now since i transplanted.

Isnt that how it always goes? But its all part of the challenge, to find the right ones in these packs to straighten them out. if she does hermi out its kinda of a disappointment, i mean i am slightly bias ive only grown from one family of blood lines, but if this is the stuff that you get when you pay for it it kinda stings. Kinda like the guys out there that were getting the non auto's and semi autos.

I just would hate to see a patient get a pack of 10 of these, if it hermi's like i have heard about, and get some in the pack.

I have seen a super skunk plant do the same from seed. As it grew the thing got longer and never developed into a pollen sac. It looked like a non swollen calyx on a stem.

I am hoping for the same. As long as it doesn't grow pollen sacs I might still toss some pollen on it. It is head and shoulders above the rest. If i put a camera on it, you could litterally watch the leaves grow... Fkn Given'er :D haha

I have a matching male too, so it would be a shame not to be able to hold onto the pheno.

That sativa looking one has my eye though, if you have seen pics of mdanzigs. The biggest ones look more sativa to me. So in the end I think i have the female I wanted, but no matching male.

I also think I am going to just use the 4 males I like together on each plant. I'd hate to start a bottleneck right away and F myself later. Diversity at first is how I work my shiz.

My thoughts exactly

Always a good call... especially after hearing wiz's iterations on genetics and selections! :)

I have to agree here it allows you to really see whats in the gene pool. I used the two best males on the recent Kush monster and Bomb bud. The one male was a match to the bomb bud started off with same kinda leaf sets and same branching. Glad it happened these were the ones that started with the round leafs.

I love it when you get the phenos you were looking for. Or at least good un expected ones.

I am loving that one you show around with the main cola and a floor of side branches. That's the one you are calling the kush monster?

its always a nice surprise, almost like they are leading you in a certain direction
and that is the one that i am calling the Kush monster, just a working name
BUT its the foundation of what i have a name waiting for. :)

yeah its nice when things work out...

haha

thats how that photo kona mist i have is... thats part of why i wanna auto it... cuz it could be the DEFINITION of amazonian if the auto version grew half as vigorously! lol

Update time :D I have some of the males i will add later. The big one with the "balls" They are balls, they are slowly developing into pollen sacs. There is a part of me that just wants to axe it all together. But since it's massive i will baby sit the thing. It also the only one giving me trouble with the soil PH.. So i am stuck between flushing it, or letting the 2 other plants in the pot just keep growing fine.. Anyways..

Pic time.

These 2 are coming along nicely. I've given them a half dose of nutes. They are pretty good with just the soil right now so i am going easy on these ones.

Really branchy strain. This one is the looker so far. Nice sativa looking to me.
She has gotten hungry the last few days, so i am going to give it a full dose of nutes next time. Green her up a bit, and kick those buds into flower with some hornby's bigbud.
