Mephisto Genetics MCPD_Refugee’s Experiment with DWC and Double Grape

I swear....it’s not me or anything I’m doing...honestly. It’s all the genetics, the nutrients and the lights. (I used to think @Dabber was full of...well...you know....but seeing really is believing) Honestly, it’s the closest thing to autopilot that I’ve ever seen.

This is my favorite time. They are what you wanted them to become.
:bravo:

I believe u great genetics, Lights, nutrients and mix that with good timing and some love always take a little bit of luck. If it’s available. Correct temps good air movement proper RH. Get them all right and whammo so it’s not that u do a lot. U just got your shit dialed in my man and running smooth. U can take some credit lol someone had to get it all right.

Sorry to disappoint you you're not the 1st to think that. I know what makes my plants and now so do you [HASHTAG]#autocob's[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#megacrop[/HASHTAG] and great genetics  I'll write me a book like that Chef guy on Instagram :funny:

Day 61.

Cruising right along. I did notice the first sign of deficiency this afternoon. Looks to be a Cal/Mag issue. I did a full reservoir change today. I dropped the Mega Crop back down to 3.5 g/gal. I increased the Cal+Mag Pro to 2.0 g/gal. The Bud Explosion and Sweet Candy are still at 1.0 g/gal. and the Hydroguard is still at 2 ml/gal. She’s drinking about 2 to 2.5 liters of fluids per day. I’m trying to keep her reservoir topped off the best I can. Ive been adding 2 liters of 1/4 strength nutrient solution pH’ed to 5.8. I’ve noticed significant pH drift towards the alkaline end of the acceptable range. At the reservoir changes on the weekends, pH is at 5.8. As the week moves on, the pH slowly creeps 0.1 each day until the end of the week at 6.4 or 6.5. I don’t know why this is, but I need to keep an eye on it.

You’re getting real close to a mountain of grade A bud. Great work!

Starting to swell, very nice.
Yes. I’m looking forward to continued swelling. This is the part that has been, up to this point, elusive to me. I think I just need to stay the course and let her do her own thing.

Thank you, @Seabass. I'm just trying to stay out of her way.

holy colas, that is one sizable momma. Lot's of xmas meds for you and all the good little boys and girls. Good growing.
@Seymourbud, thank you. I hope she'll be done by X-Mas. If all of those colas can get up to 5 oz. wet (which I highly doubt), then I will have successfully grown my first pounder. I think she'll probably come in at about half of that. And I would be very happy with that for a X-Mas present, indeed.

In my previous grows, I’ve done a cut, wet trim, cut into golf ball sized nugs and dry in paper bags. This time, however, I THINK I want to do a cut, hang dry and dry trim. She’s just so damn frosty. I want to try to preserve as much of that as I can. My question to whomever will provide their opinion is: Which method is better and why? Has anyone tried both methods who can tell me the pros and cons of each?
