Mephisto Genetics MCPD_Refugee’s Experiment with DWC and Double Grape

don't sell yourself short bro.

you do have an idea what you're doing, otherwise you wouldn't have made the choices you did that have enabled your "autopilot" grow now.

just because you don't know all the intricacies of phytochemistry or molecular biology, you are still the one who makes the magic happen, doesn't matter how hands-on you want/have to be for the duration.

we observe, we learn and we take that knowledge and apply it to what we are doing.

getting in to a comfort zone and thinking she's on autopilot just indicates you've done a darn good job mate.

after several grows myself i might not get so invested in my plants, maybe take a bit more of a blasé attitude...but don't take anything away from yourself, you put in work and you're getting the results to show it.

Day 50

By my reckoning, she’s halfway done. If I can take her down before the 100 day mark, I would be surprised. Her vertical growth has slowed down or maybe even stopped. I look in the tent so often that it’s difficult to tell just by eyeballing it. Her buds have swelled a tad. She’s drinking like a fish. I’m topping off her reservoir with 1/4 strength nutrients every day now. Some days she drinks a liter. Some days she drinks three. She’s starting to frost up good and properly now. She’s got somewhere between 16 and 20 tops at the canopy level. If each cola fills out fully, they each look to be between 10 and 15 inches (25 to 38 cm) long. Again, all in all, I’m very happy with how this is going so far.

Thanks, @Froot n Fuel. I’m trying to follow the example of @archie gemmill snd take a more laid back attitude about growing. This particular grow has made it easier, that’s for sure. The Mephisto gear has ensured a monster plant of the highest quality. The Autocobs have let me indivually adjust my lighting. And they’re bright AF. The Greenleaf Nutrients line makes plant nutrition almost idiot proof - literally weigh the powder, measure the water, mix and go. This combination just works. Aside from a little light LST and some supercropping, I have done very little here.

100% agree not a lot to do when you have the best autoflower light and the best nute combo I cant wait to see the harvest
Ya know, @Dabber, during your last grow, you kept saying it was the strain, the lights and the nutrients. I didn’t believe it until I saw it for myself. So, I’m sorry that I doubted you. As for this big gal, I’ll be really happy if I can pull 1/2 pound out of her. I may get less. I may get more. But I’ll be really happy with 8 zips.

She’s got me thinking about squishing her flowers. I just don’t know which press to buy. There are a few that are compelling. Anyone got a recommendation?

I've always been told seeing is believing :funny: IMO you're also using MC the way intended weigh and mix I called it stoner proof :LOLStoned: because I am 90% of the time. I got a NugSmasher XP and if your gonna do small presses than their Mini is awesome.

you making it look easy :greenthumb:happy healthy looking plant with loads of budsites
we can be our own worst enemy in the garden by interferring too much at times when its really not needed.figuring out when to take action and when to leave well alone is half the battle :amazon:"keep it simple stupid" we hear lots "less is more" and my fave "the less you do the less can go wrong" almost all plant issues/problems are man made.
you have it dialed in as they say, very nice growing :pass:
keep er lit.
:pighug:
