New Grower MCPD_Refugee loses his virginity to White Widow and Blueberry

I've seen your journal. I'm not as well read as @archie gemmill, but I read A LOT of threads on here. You will harvest a lot more than I will. You've got a massive jungle on your hands.I'm kind of constrained by the size and scope of my growing environment. Even so, my plants ended up staying on the small side. Each plant is only about 14" (35.5 cm) from the top of the soil. It turns out that I was pulverizing them with my light and causing major nutritional deficiencies. My next grow will be better.

My one piece of advice would be to stick to your feeding schedule and read your plants. If your plants look like the tips are burning, back off on your nutrients a bit. If they're looking like they've got a deficiency, bump up the nutes a bit. But for the most part, just follow the schedule. You're using @A-Train's schedule, right? He knows his shit! He's got some absolutely massive grows under his belt.

Don't be afraid to ask questions if you have them. As you can see from my journal, I did not do this alone. I've had help from some great people. That's the best part about AFN...these people are awesome. And I haven't even scratched the surface of the depth and breadth of this site yet.
Thanks! Yes that's right I am following a-train feed schedule. So far so good as no defiencys shown.
If I can get 1oz per plant I will be happy but am hoping for 2oz a plant.
I've read your journal and you had some problems, so being able to achieve what you did is awesome. I bet your next grow you will nail it!
Looking forward to it

Day 56

I apologize for so many posts here as I'm winding down this grow. Maybe I'm just getting excited for this to be over. I feel like a horrible helicopter parent to two finicky young ladies and I just don't want anything to go wrong at this point. Noob nerves. I have got to chill.

So after giving the Blueberry a day of plain distilled water, I decided that I wasn't happy with where she was with bud development and I noticed some clear trichomes popping up where I hadn't noticed trichomes before, so I decided to go back to feeding her until the end of TaNg's schedule....or at least where I'm going to end the feeding schedule. So, I'm feeding both plants until tomorrow. I'm glad I made that decision. This morning, I popped my head into the cabinet and I noticed that the buds had seemingly swollen overnight. So, without further ado:

First the Blueberry:

As always, thanks for dropping by and feel free to drop a comment or question.

Peace.

Read Ed Rosenthals marijuana growers handbook it literally has all the info to grow like a pro like Tang. I've been studying and researching since I was 16 and I have my first real grow almost complete and I think it's pretty damned good. You can find it in the new growers thread... @Nosias, tag me when you get this grow started. I'd be very interested what you can do with your new light. I've also heard nothing but good things about DP's BBK.

some real nice girls there i would be well chuffed good job pal

Thank you, @St. Tom. I appreciate the compliment. I'm pretty excited to see their dry weights and how they smoke. I am, however, mildly disappointed in myself, because I know I could have done better. Oh well...hopefully I have this setup dialed in for the next one.

Thanks for the info. I will start next Sunday to drop the beans and then we all will see what all of the excitement is about. I just know these ChilLED lights are the next "sliced bread" lights. They should really kick some gr :joy: ass. As they are new we all will need to learn how to use them to their best capacities :laptop:.
We are all still waiting for the firmware to be completed on the external light controller, then the fun begins. :yay1::laughcry::footy:

@mcpd_refugee I will be sure to tag you when I start. And do not be hard on yourself. They look beautiful and I know they will treat you right. As a baby, how long did it take you to learn to walk? Great job.
