I'm not sure about walking. I don't remember back that far. I do remember learning to swim, though. It was the week after my fifth birthday back in the summer of '75. It was in a Holiday Inn swimming pool in Austin, Texas. I spent all afternoon in that pool starting with flailing my arms and legs away and finishing with a respectable freestyle stroke. I also got massively sunburnt. I remember my parents having a good laugh about it the next morning because I thought I couldn't move.

That just sounds like an overly enthusiastic boy to me. You know you can raise a daughter but you can only hope a son does not do TOO much damage to themselves.
