New Grower MCPD_Refugee loses his virginity to White Widow and Blueberry

I realized that, at the most, I've only got another ten to thirteen days of feeding them before flipping over to straight water for ten days, so I'm not going to obsess over the condition of the leaves at this point. I'm just going to keep on pushing the through to the end. Hopefully I can get an ounce out of each of 'em.

Nice looking buds on 'em!

I did explicitly say so yesterday, @Z_Bop, but thank you for the compliment.

I think I have one more week from today and then I'll switch over to water only to finish them off. That'll put me at Day 65 (August 10) for harvest. Close enough for me given the problems I've had and my inability to quickly troubleshoot them.

Trichome Tuesday

A mixed bag of photos. I apologize that they aren't better. First is White Widow, the rest are Blueberry. Should I be looking to harvest soonish? I'm only at Day 50:

Alright alright alright. I just got done taking a look at the sugar on my ladies again, and my Blueberry is going to cross the finish line first. Any help on when to i should give her a trim would be greatly appreciated.

The White a Widow will keep chugging along, but I'm worried that she's getting too fat:

I see clear and milky trichomes, and plenty of whithered pistils. Not long now.

Thanks, Micron. My original plan was to go 10 more days then give 10 days of water only after that. I've kind of revised that to go two more days then flip over to 10 days of water. Your thoughts? I am definitely sticking to the original plan for the White Widow...I'm strictly asking about the Blueberry.

I did already see some amber in the closeup pics above, you can see your pistils are retracting, looping, and condensing. I'd say the shorter life cycle would be appropriate. Does this coincide with the breeder's projected finishing times?

Another technique people employ is to take the most mature flowers and stagger the rest of the harvest. Many autos do not mature uniformly. Lowers looking the same as the top on your blueberry?

All of the buds have some amber trichomes on them. Some more than others.

The breeder's website lists 55 days of "average flowering time." So, she flipped into flower almost immediately after I topped her on day 14. That would be 69 to 70 days. Today is Day 51. If I feed until tomorrow and then switch to water, she'll get harvested on day 62. Given the Cal/Mag and light issue and the fact that I topped her, I'd say that would put me close enough to the breeder's "average flowering time" for me to be happy.

I just have no idea what I'm doing and feel like I'm making this all up as I go along. It's one thing to read about this stuff and quite another to actually do it yourself.
