Hey Guys, I recently decided to try LED lighting after almost 20 years using HPS. After much research it came down to the SpyderX-plus by Fluence, and the Kind K5XL1000. I decided to go with the Kind simply because it does not take up as much space as the SpyderX-plus. Also the Spyder does not have the ir and uv diode spectrums like the Kind. And @Rebel had an awesome grow journal using the Kind. The Kind K5 XL1000 replaced a 600w HPS in a tent that is 1meterby1meter square and almost 2 meters tall and has been in the tent for 4 days now. I started it off at 50% power , now it is at 80% and will be at 100 by next friday. This was suggested by the manufacturer to reduce stress on the plants. here is a few pics that i took immediately after putting the light into the tent. it only took about fifteen mins to figure out the controls, directions are super simple and easy to read and setting up the timer function was simple.
