Mars Hydro TS600 Foaming Up? Lol

If you wipe the spot as clean as you can, do you see a hole through the aluminum all the way to the underside? If you do, the led assembly is producing the acid and it has eaten all the way through the heat sink. If there is no hole through the aluminum, I cannot understand how the aluminum surface could produce that stuff on its own.

I’ve been trying to clean it off, but once I do, it’s leaves a residue that I can’t seem to get off. So I can’t see a hole for that reason. But I think you are also right. I think acid is leaking out the heat sink.

Any time I clean it off, it fills back up.

Yes it’s in the original pics.

This picture below was taken when I checked my plants and noticed the foam on top. As you can see it has overflowed Onto the aluminium.

Here it is again about 20mins or less later. You can see the larger residue around it. That was from when I wiped it.

Indeed it is. Those other splash spots were oozing out too once I wiped the original foam. Seems the longer it runs, the slower it oozes out. Mars hydro offered me 5% discount for ts1000 when that discount is free to everyone lol. I can easily find a 10% off discount code on the internet for free. Told them not to bother. Not happy! Will buy another kingbRite, or a viper Spectra

Thanks for letting us know about mars hydros wonderful response and offer. I will use this info when I decide which brand of light I will buy next and it doesn't sound like I'll be buying a mars light.
