Indoor Mars Hydro grow journal: WildBill does Hubbabubbasmelloscope in EarthBoxes under MarsHydro SP3000

WB, those HBSS are going to be crazy, man! They are taking their time setting roots in that sweet soil you got goin on. To be honest, before your grow, I didn’t think one auto could fill a regular EB, but now I stand corrected. Those two are taking over the entire box during the first week of flower. I am intrigued to see what they look like after the stretch! Nice work, my man!

Thanks! I think they are gonna be pretty crazy.
The roots are really packed on the planted end. I could tell when testing for Ph of the soil. I can't help thinking that the roots would be more evenly distributed if I had planted in the center. I wouldn't be able to lay them over to LST.

Last night I reattached the tie downs and adjusted them. I think I have a pretty good layout on the left HBSS and an ok on the right. With the buds forming pretty good, I'm just gonna run with what I have.

In anticipation of the growth I expect to see from HBSS, I checked to see if my platforms I made from the last grow would fit and they did. I'll be able to keep Stomper and Kong getting good light.

I'm also gonna have another problem very soon. As you can see, the HBSS are touching the sides of the tent and getting kinda intermingled between the two girls. I can't really turn them around. They would get into the other girls too much. Watering is gonna get more difficult with the water tube at the back of the tent. I have that covered. I'll post pics after I get it done. I just have to go get one item.

While moving the two girl out of the tent, I did notice a little difference in the weights. With more biomass, Kong is using a noticeable amount of more water than Stomper. Kong was being stubborn last night. She didn't like the doo I gave her with some leaf tucking, so I taught her a lesson and retucked! Both girls are on cruise control and doing their thing.

The smells back up the increasing frost on the girls. Beautiful smells greet ya when you open the tent! The grape and bubblegum smells are quite a pleasing scent to start your work!

Both HBSS took a full gallon each of tap water. I wonder how much this will increase as they progress. Still good on the undergrowth and airflow, but they will need some attention soon.
I'll move the right HBSS a little towards the back of the tent and get both in their place for the rest of the grow, before I set up the new watering setup.

Dude, your gals are absolutely gorgeous. Respect.
Thanks! The HBSS could be better in condition, but I'm just letting them run and continue to do apply the "treatments" . I do have one more thing that I could add to the treatment that I may try on the next round.

I'd like to see if I can get a little confirmation of what I THINK I'm observing and the conclusion that make sense to me.

Striving to maintain a VPD around 1.0-1.1 and keeping the light intensity to a reasonable level., both HBSS are drinking a gallon of water in 24hrs. Older growth that was faded, has deepened quite a bit. Maybe this is letting the girls uptake more of the limited/locked out nutes. Yeah the plant are growing, but with not super high PPFD figures, the growth rate is not too much to offset the increased of the nute/s in question.
I could easily be wrong, but probing for pH reveals pretty much the same results as before with maybe a slight increase in the soil acidity on the planted end of the box.

Or maybe low_and_slow LITFA is begining to kick in!

Didn't have time to set up my new watering method, but each HBSS took just short of a gallon each.

stan_mephisto is correct in describing Stomper with the word ‘frostiliscious’. I thought there was something wrong with the leaves at the very top cola, but when I got close up, it was trichomes. LOL! This little girl is gonna be crazy frosty by the time she gets chopped!

Welcome To The Jungle

It sure is feeling like that when I open the tent! LOL!
Both HBSS are getting pretty bushy and growin' upwards. I had to make my watering easier and later in the grow...... making it possible to water.
Now it's easy as hell the water the EarthBoxes! Both girls took just short of a gallon each.

I think I'm done with the LST and just let them run I'm resisting the urge to LST and also any defol at the time. They are close to needing it, but I'm keeping the rH below 60 and there's still good airflow. The downside at the moment with defol is the leaves I woyld take are the greenest leaves.
With the upwards growth of of HBSS, It was time to elevate the other girls. so I put one of the old platform under each girl.

Both the 7gal pots got a surface wetting with the spray bottle. I'm starting the next round of compost tea. Stomper and Kong should need watering in the next 24-36hrs
