That's a small snow bank by the way. Just a small glimpse
But dat's expected where U iz!Welcome to my life every winter bro. Lol we got 50 inches of snow this past week. U.P., MI life. Lol View attachment 1287883
I feel the same way about everyone that lives by the ocean. I lived in Florida and other places also but I like it here. Snow is the worst thing that happens. We dont get tornadoes or extreme heat, were lucky to get a few days in the summer in the low 90s. We dont gotta worry bout tsunamis or hurricanes or earthquakes or nothing crazy like that. I'll take the snow any day. Lol. Living on the west coast wud terrify me cuz I'm paranoid of Yellowstone volcano blowing some day and all the radiation from the Fukushima disaster scares me. Im not a city person either. I like my small town. And by the ocean is a big no for me. I hate gators and sharks and snakes and spiders. Theres not many dangerous things to kill you here which is why I stay. Were tucked away up here ready for the apocalypse. I can hunt deer, bear, rabbit or partridge and catch fish and pick wild strawberries or blackberries or raspberries or blueberries or thimbleberries which are everywhere here and easy to pick and worth 15 or more dollars a pound depends where you sell em. You can make bank picking thimbleberries in the summer here if you know where they are at. But I could live off the land if ever needed easily here. But dat's expected where U iz!
I'm not crazy enough to live there in the winter !!!
I've seen big snows. I had to jump out a second story window to dig out the front door of the barracks when they shut down snow shoveling crews late one night when the wind chill dropped to -75*F. You could chunk a rock into the lake from the barracks at Naval Training Center Great Lakes, ILThat's a small snow bank by the way. Just a small glimpse

Had to thaw my pipes monday was -20. If you got access to a salamander to borrow or own just shove it under the crawl space and let her do some magic if cant get to pipes. Hopefully won't be frozen too long. I had to borrow one but took me 20 minutes to thaw em. Just an idea if you own or got access to one. Plants looking great. Hubba bubba sounds wonderfulGirls are doing great! Hopefully my power will remain on! No water due to frozen pipes, despite dripping and flushing line thru the night. Building codes just don't take record temps of -8*F into account. The kind of piping I have is not likely to burst, but I'll probally have to check connections.
I'll prolly have to give the girls snow water sometime before Sat when this shit will start to melt.
Girls look good from their treatment. They all greeted me with a different funk this morning. The last few days it's been hardcore grape from Stomper and Kong. This morning, HBSS has added her funk. The HBSS girls have lived up to their name! I didn't believe what the guide say, but there was a STRONG bubblegum smell with grapey overtone. Fuggin' crazy!
I had to raise the lights from the HBSS coming up. It's good that I LST the HBSS girls. They would have been ridiculously tall by now.
I did have to pull on both mains to bring both down before going to sleep. They would have been too close to the light by the time I woke.
Other than pulling down the main colas, I suspect all girls will be on cruise control for at least a couple of days.
Both Stomper and Kong are right at 20in tall.
The Girls!

I'll go up in the attic today and check the lines. Not really much I can do with my set up. If I had one of those propane infared heaters, I could set it up there, but I don't have one.Had to thaw my pipes monday was -20.
