Indoor Mars Hydro grow journal: WildBill does Hubbabubbasmelloscope in EarthBoxes under MarsHydro SP3000

@WildBill I should added 6 smaller but your trying to go big. 7 gallon pots 4 plants. Dont see why you wouldn't hit 2 pounds.

Ok Ok! Ok! LOL! I was kinda stretching things a bit.
I wanted to see what you guy would come up with. :smoking:
I think 4 would do quite nicely, especially since I won't grow in less than 7gal pots.

Now to the STS: I'd prefer, this first time, to just get a good premade two part. I want to take out as many variables as I can.
If I can't get some links to that, I guess some links to make it myself will have to do.

Kinda figures, huh? I'd like that!
I think it would be pretty too. She does look like a pretty easy trim too. Another big positive in my book. Pretty good smoke is another one.:baked:

The girls are just trucking along.. Surface moisture is still quite good in the EarthBoxes with the hay. I'm liking that.
The right HBSS is improving, just not as quick as I'd like, but she's still growing.
The left HBSS is doing very well. I'm pleased with her recovery
I'm still keeping the lights higher and keeping the VPD around 0.75 . I think about two more days before I start slowly bringing things back up. Hopefully the weakest girl will come along for the ride, but I can't really see sacrificing the growth of the other girls to baby her along.
It's a three way tie for the tallest and Kong is shortest, but maybe a half inch. I raised the lights about 3/4 in

The HBSS will get another :naughtystep: session before I go to bed.

Just lovin' the smelly ladies!!!:eyebrows::eyebrows::eyebrows::rofl:

THE GIRLS WERE MUCH MORE COOPERATIVE!
frankenstein_chained1.jpg

I mainly refined the LST on them. I added a few "canes" ala MrOldBoy. I wish he was here. Just a very nice and helpful guy.
Lots of new sites.......They are gonna be a handful I think. It'll be a nice challenge.
Soil moisture is still great on the surface, I really think I'm just gonna run the EBs without the cover. I think the pluses outweighs water use slight increase and more bug exposure. Cooler media surface temps and exposure to oxygen are beneficial to both worms and microbial life. It fits well with using Boost and compost tea. Opinions welcomed!!!!

Before today's LST

More sites with Kong and just plain more biomass

I got so busy with this speed week stuff, I didn't get a chance to put covers on all my gals. It does "seem" like the uncovered ones are a bit behind the covered one. I got to get an update done today or Sun,

LOVED Speed Week!
That would be interesting to see.

While bending down to get a better pull on one of the HBSS main branch, I note Stomper's development. I could see it a few days ago, but the camera couldn't capture it.

Beginning frost....zoom
IMG_20210212_173253145.jpg

With the LST going on, Stomper is the tallest and the light is at 25in above the canopy.
Running the the tent at 75*F and 61%Ph with VPD at 0.8 kPa
I'm just letting the girls come up to the lighs and maintain around 22-23in
Make up rez water was a half-gal each.
Not too many more days of Stomper being between the two EarthBoxes. It's gonna get too crowded.
I'll just split the distance between the two EBs and put the others girl to the front. I should still have room between the 7gal to put the clones.
I'm contemplating giving all the girls another "treatment" like before. I don't see how it could do any harm, but it could just be wasteful.
I thought the next watering of the 7 gal pots would be ok timing. I'm just not that familiar with Recharge. Any input about that is welcomed.

I recharge once a week in soil. Twice a week in coco amoco the bennies get flushed out. And in hydro I wud feed recharge every res change. I'd top feed my dwc buckets with it and let it drip down for an hour then change water and the res. When they're young I'd feed half tsp per gal of water and give each plant some but not too much. Older plants past 3 or 4 weeks I'd say full tsp per gal water. Give the top soil a god soak quick then on to the next plant. I always feed nutes first then recharge right after a feeding to add the bennies in. Then I stop recharge 2 weeks before harvest to flush the molasses out. Recharge is my shit. I dont grow without it.
