New Grower Mara's continuous grow

A quick Friday update:

The big girls are getting ripe at 11 weeks old (Mothman #2, Mango Smile, Gold Leaf #3):

VooDoo #1 and What the Fuck #1 are 3 weeks old, so they got topped last night, per my standard procedure:

VooDoo #2 is 2 weeks old. Her first leaves curled just like her sister did. I thought maybe I started them on too much nutes, but it didn't happen to the WTF, so maybe it's genetic. Except for the first set, the leaves look normal:

That's it for this week. I meant to start doing trichome shots on the big girls, but ran out of time. Laters! A big thanks to all the Live Stoners!

Another week, another update:

The big girls are 85 days old, starting to show a few amber trichomes. I guess I'll be chopping soon.

VooDoo #1 and What the Fuck #1 are 4 weeks old, topped a week ago:

VooDoo #2 is 3 weeks old, so I'll top her tonight:

I'm gonna try and get some Mango Smile Auto female pollen to brush onto a lower branch of future grows. She/he/they is in 1/2 of a gallon bag to keep her small. I'll start spraying colloidal silver solution at 3 weeks old, unless somebody gives me better advice. I'll need to make an isolation chamber if she grows balls:

The stash is getting low, so the upcoming harvest is just in time. Those 1-gallon pickle jars were all full a month ago:

The wife's breakthrough COVID is not too bad a week after showing symptoms. We both had it a couple years ago, and both have had 4 shots. I've been coughing up a few raw clams meself, I'll take a test later to see if the 'rona stuck to me. That's all the news for this week. Thanks Live Stoners for all the help and support!

I love how they all look but mothman is my favorite, i have 3 seeds but no space for them yet as i know they get big and i'll need the space which is being used for orgypots lol

I hope you and the wife get to feeling 100% soon!
I have not caught the 'rona yet so I'm not sure how bad it is, 0 shots here. I'm thinking I'm immune to it as i have been around tons of people with it including my roommate who i live with and he took 10 days off work sharing a kitchen the whole time with me, nada. I'm not bragging, i just remembered corona was still a thing is all and sharing my non-experience with it.

Love your plants bro!

The Moth Man is different from the other plants I've grown. The sugar leaves stayed green while the buds got dark purple. The sugar leaves didn't get much trichomes, they were all on the buds. Be careful because I've had a couple of reports that this strain is a strong aphrodisiac. One of my "patients" specifically asks for "that horny weed."

Thanks for the reps!

I'll keep that in mind! After i grow 1 out i was thinking if it is as good as you and @Dankerson say i will reverse mothman so i can play with the strain, i get stressed when i only have 3 seeds to work with. Can we even get all the different phenos with 3 seeds >.< ? lol

She looks like a easy trim too with just big fans and sugars, my favorite kind of trim job :eyebrows:

Happy Friday! Here's my weekly update:
setup_20221014_pan.jpg

I switched to GreenLeaf MegaCrop 1-part nutes this week. I'm loving the easier mixing. Now let's see if it works! So far the girls seem to be liking it. The MC recommended feed schedule calls for higher and higher feed concentrations all the way to harvest, and they claim the form of Nitrogen they use does not cause toxicity. I'm not gonna use any other additives for this run. Anyway, here's the girlz, from oldest to youngest:

Mango Smile #1 got the axe 5 days ago on her day 87. After 2 days in a brown paper bag and 2 days in an open jar, the jar is closed and stable at RH 62%. Her final weight was 114 grams (4 z's!):
MS.1_day87.jpg MS.1_final_114g.jpg

Gold Leaf #3 and MothMan #2 are at 92 days. Gold Leaf colas were falling over so I added more support (the 26" diameter black wire hoop):
GL.3_day92.jpg GL.3_day92_trichs.jpg MM.2_day92.jpg MM.2_day92_trichs.jpg

VooDoo #1 and What the Fuck #1 are 7 weeks old, showing pistils. WTF got a 12" diameter wire hoop between the tops to spread them, and I pulled the shorter branches inside the hoop to get more light.
VD.1_day35.jpg WTF.1_day35.jpg WTF hooped: WTF.1_day35_hooped.jpg

VooDoo #2 is 4 weeks old. She's had a rough time. I think she didn't like the recycled coco. At 3 weeks she was too small to top, so I let her go natch. One day, when I lifted her skirt to water, the main trunk started to tip over, and has healed at an angle. I'll keep feeding and see what she can do:
VD.2_day28.jpg

The Mango Smile pollen project is 2 weeks old. I'll start spraying her with Colloidal Silver in another week or so.

I'm scheduled to start 3 more this week: Poison Bear OG, WTF, Mango Smile. That's the news for this week. Thanks and a tip o' the hat to all the Live Stoners.

Hey Mara! It's great that you've joined the MegaCrop gang... hope you like it! And I'm sure you'll do great on your pollinization project with that Mango Smile... but why are you using Colloidal Sivler and not STS?

I guess I got this Colloidal Silver because I didn't know any better LOL! I got it a while back after I read my first article on making pollen. It's probably too late to upgrade to STS for this run. I think I'm supposed to start spraying at about 3 weeks (next week), right?

i use Colloidal Silver because old school breeders here suggested it to me and i have used it x3 and it works so why not use it? why use STS over CS is my question.

I have more seeds than i'll ever use in my lifetime from 1 bottle of CS

A Tip on the CS don't spray the whole plant like i did.

Spray 1 branch and keep spraying it until you see nanners then stopped spraying, i was using a qtip and later a paint brush to apply the CS but i got impatient and bought a spray nozzle and sprayed the whole plant, later wishing i didn't, more nanners than pistils lol but i still got tons of pollen and seeds so it worked in the end.

i started spraying my branches when it showed sex (pistils showing) and kept doing it until i seen pollen sacs
