New Grower Lucy's Very First Grow - Ak48 auto in soil LED

It’s dope huh? crack myself up sometimes.. I like Sativa strains mostly and really enjoy the head high even thou I too get lost sometimes.. I’m not the get locked into the couch type.. I’m old too and don't have time for that crap .. I sample but after a day or two in a bag or envelope.. What kinda vape do you have?

Hi Reefer thanks for stopping by. I actually did try a tiny little bud tonight. I wasn't expecting much. I've been high for 2 hours now lol. I don't usually vape before taking care of the plants and now I know why. It wasn't killer strong or anything but was the kind of buzz I don't like much. I'm sure that will change when she's ready. I felt like my head was floating and I kept stopping in the middle of the room trying to remember what I was doing. I'm old tho and that can happen without the help of anything green :p

It did get me excited about what's to come though :cooldance:and it is wicked cool to know that you actually grew what you are feeling View attachment 965469
Still a way off, don't worry about it being a less than ideal high at this point. I need to see at least 10-15% amber for me to avoid an uncomfortable buzz. Waiting for them to go from cloudy to amber can feel like the longest part of the whole grow

Good because I am not ready LOL. I practiced with the loop last night and did manage to see the trichomes with it. It seems like there's a lot of distortion around the edges of the glass. The distortion kept making the edges look orange....of all colors. I was looking inside the tent with the blurples on so not sure if that affected it.
I literally had to sit down in a chair with both hands on the loop and elbows on my knees in order to steady it enough to see.

It's such a critical part of the process so I may look for something better to view the trichomes with.

Let me know if you find something!

I've been using a loupe too. It just about does the job but yeah, it's a real drag to use. Haven't been able to find anything that wouldn't break the bank and will do a better job though.

Look for a digital scope with a connection to your phone. Or a loupe that less power, 60x is almost too much for me. 20 or 30 works great
Good shout. And £19.99 on Amazon. Wild times we live in.
