Been using biobizz grow (4-3-6) and bloom (2-7-4), they've only had 1ml of bloom twice but the grow and calmag has been given a few times.

Just purchased a new calmag because the AN calmag that I have been using is 4-0-0 :nono:

I find what looks like nitrogen deficiency very confusing though. As they've been getting a lot of nitrogen and my understanding is that this is not locked out at higher soil ph's.... I would expect toxicity.

Basically I know nothing and it's starting to show! Lol

i knew there was a reason i didn't go with AN's CalMag!

i think some have had success with using BioBizz nutes without pHing, but they've likely got a much more neutral water supply.

personally, i'd let things settle down for another 24-48 hours before worrying about deficiencies. i don't know the ins-and-outs of lockouts and will not pretend i do! does look like N def', but also like some cases of Mag' def' too...so see how she holds up of the next day or two in my opinion. now you have an idea of pH levels, you'll get some great info from posting in the Infirmary; modern-day Einsteins up in there, but they do need information on pH, nutes, decent photographs etc etc.

I believe AN do a 2-0-0 calmag as well but I was oblivious to that! Was genuinely shocked at the pH of my water!! As soon as I read it and checked with the paper I was like 'OH SHIT!' lol

I'll let them settle as you say for a couple of days and post if anything drastic changes!

Cheers man!

Well that’s frustrating!

Your soil meter is coming tomorrow? You’ll know a lot more than. There’s a sticky thread about flushing in the new grower area if that’s what she ends up needing.

Yeah, 2nd soil probe and pen coming tomorrow.

Thanks, I think I have read the thread! Lol

I'm reluctant to flush unless that's the general consensus! Lol

I feel like a flush is just going to slow everything down. Although I've read some posts in the infirmary section from people who strongly support a flush as a reset. It seems like a bit of a contriversial topic... To flush or not to flush... That's is the question!

We'll see how things go.

Like you I started with biobizz nutes. Grow, bloom and topmax. Only measured ph in the very beginning since it was in range always. Since then I made the switch to megacrop and bud explosion from GN. Never ph anything and plants never been healthier.

Hey man. That's so lucky. Unfortunately for me, the tap water where I am is pretty alkaline when left out for 24 hours. I can only assume it's taken 5 weeks for the soil to tip just out of nutrient range.

Hey guys.

NL is 6 weeks old today.

Got all my pH gear so have just given a feed of 4.5 lol. The soil pH is now sitting happily at just over 6 so fingers crossed there is an improvement in her demeanor tomorrow. I removed about a dozen yellowed leaves before the picture.

Here she is last week.

She till seems to be growing which I can't complain about! Lol

I don't enjoy the guilt of misstreatment! Lol I'm a bad parent.

Cheers

Seems the soil pH has crept back up overnight to about 6.8. will give them another acid drink tonight and see if I can get it back down.
