@Mossy do you remember years back when you found an African sativa seed supplier? You had shared a link with me, any chance you remember anything about them? I know it's a long shot but I wanted to follow up on some of those African strains.
Ace seeds has some African and landrace. European but there are some US distributors :pass:

Mysterious Disappearance

The folks at Afropips caused a degree of confusion a while ago, when their website suddenly ceased to exist. The official Afropips portal may have vanished into thin air, but the fruits of their efforts are still very much doing the rounds online.

Ace hardware indeed had 1 package left so about to plant up double cupped up bean now that I am all set! Just gotta figure out what holds one of these plugs firm so it stands upright cuz I don’t have a plug tray!
I have used them upside down, it works. The thing about starter plugs is you must learn how to manage the moisture level. Sponges, squeeze out the extra water before planting. It is a learned process. Rock wool you need to monitor the weight because they can hold too much water. Do not water too often and they do best with an air gap.

If you have a problem with algae just cover it for light, no light no algae.

Whats the benefit over rockwool?

I got like 100 1" rockwool cubes for $10 on amazon.
None.
Same question
Same answer.

The alkaline in rock wool is left over from the manufacturing process, once you neutralize it (in the instructions) it becomes Inert. From a growing standpoint it comes down to personal preference.
