@Lil Dab
Yeah, his death was quite a shock.
I met him at SEMA in 08 or 09. It was whatever year Ford kinda pretty much took over SEMA. GM and Chrysler had pretty much pulled most of their presence. I had not planned on going. One of the Ford reps I had met during Fun Ford Weekend Racing, called me up and asked if I knew of any noteworthy Ford builds, newer the better. They were having like an Enthusiast round up area. Granted, it was outside, but you're at SEMA!
I would have loved to have brought my own Mach1, in Fun Ford Weekend racing trim, but the interior was torn apart to put a cage in, I told him of two people and the cars got pictures sent to him. Ohh he jumped at the chance!
Anyway, Block was walking through that area, so I hollard at him and he came over. My contact with Ford Racing had to be wrapped beside me. He definitely knew who Ken was and they had nice little discussion after we talked about the twin turbo mustang next to us.
It was a year or so later that Mr Block left Subaru and went to Ford!
Life takes some strange turns.
That dude was talented!
