I can’t say shit as for beautiful plants cuz i often have gave em soil with nutes in ot to start and nothing from there going forward and they survive and give me buds but nowhere near what i coulda got! Especially with a time release fertilizer like he uses tho it has some already available nutrients in it so adding to soil with nutes already in it is a way to really send a plant off on wrong foot from the beginning! I am lazy but not so lazy as to not give em something decent where u can change ratios of feed if plant shows unhappiness from what they are getting! Time release stuff plant is stuck whether its not enough/too much/ wrong ratios or whatever the case! Can still chug on thru usually but yield and the worse part terps will be affected big time!
Ive never like time release ferts. Peat based soil already holds on to stuff. I let my plants drink the soil till the start to fade a bit, then I know its time for food. Im going on 45 days amd I only fed my plants a half dose of fox farms reccomended feeding. I do wanna go to a simpler feed tho like a 2 part. Having to mix up like 7 different things is rather annoying, but then I will be back at square one with learning to feed again. Right now Im just trying to keep my plants green and happy till chop time. Anything beyond that isnt important to me right now. Though it will be eventually

Well.......... N is what is called a Luxury Nutrient as long as it is there in high volume cannabis will take it in, way more than it needs. When it does this it must spend time processing the N at the expense of the other nutrients. In extreme cases Lock-outs occur. The time release fertilizers that I have worked with all have too much N available throughout the grow. That means the plant may not be all it can be.
And the Mandarin Panties I've been growing have all been on the light side of N, I've adjusted using MC !1part at 1/2 strength to the res, one plant responded well, the other two haven't. Therefore MP won't be a plant that I keep in my rotation for the simple fact it doesn't do well with my style.

edit: i like plants that work with my style.

Those that don't, I don't need.

All about finding what works for you. More than enough info on here to develope your own style.

Its working for this grow tho I feel like 2 of my plants just arent getting enough iron, leaves starting out very yellow as they grow in but green up shortly after fully forming

There'd be a few of you highly annoyed with me, If I could remember how to post gifs.

Anyway, Your discussion on nutes and whatnot is getting awful close to peeing in the ocean and hoping for a flood.
We all grow in our style, And methods, So let's leave it at that, Yeah?

On a different note, What plant gave you your most miserable yield?

i haven't been doing too bad, My yields have been Ok, no one has complained about the quality of the buzz, it's freaking easy as hell for me and I'm not denigrating anyone elses's style of growing....I don't care about chasing that elusive extra few grams from a primo high times cover photo plant to the detriment of my health or mental state worrying about my plants all the time. I'm happy with what I do, since he could never get the auto pots to work well for him I suggested what works for me....that's all..it wasn't directed to you nor was it meant to say anything about your style of growing, to pop off like denigrating my style of growing seems like it should be on a Reddit thread.
Nobody is disparaging anything just pointing out you can’t just do a generalized feed and then blame the genetics if some of the plants don’t like it! :d5:
