So, before anything happens… I have mentioned in my threads there may be some changes in my living status coming… I hope to be able to continue with my grows but we shall see.
so about a month ago the landlord, who has been a good friend, decided to tell us he is considering selling the property. There are two houses and a trailer on it. Our home, mother in law next door and a 70’s trailer out back. He said he would tell us with ample time to get our shit together and try and buy it. Two whole days later it’s listed and a realtor wants to show it. No problem, but we will be here. You will not show it when we are at work. She’s good with that. Super long story made shorter, we went to the bank and are pre approved for 150 for our house and two rentals on 4.5 acres. We offered 140 and were immediately shot down. This was Wednesday. That same evening my friend, the landlord changed his mind and wants 150 for the three with 1.5 acres. The other 4 acres out back he wants to sell separate. So if your getting this… original listing- 4.5 and three living spaces for 150 to 1.5 and three living spaces… oh and I forgot, another realtor is looking at it for an investment! Thank you my friend for f#@king your friend like that. You rock! Still hoping to make an agreement… but if your cutting 4 acres from original listing I don’t think 150 will happen. Maybe 130-135, possibly 140… just cuz I don’t want to pack up 20 yrs of life and have to move. Got two dogs, 3 cats and more stuff than will fit in an apartment. At least boys are out of school. I’ll try to keep y’all up on the situation. But the grows may be cut short. Hoping not. The realtor that’s looking says she would keep us here but have to raise rent about 200 to meet fair value. No problem, if that’s the way it goes down. Gonna smoke one now to calm down… was calm before I started typing but it makes me shaky when I think too long about it. Partly from anger and betrayal, and partly from nervous anticipation of what, where, when, why , and the how of the whole situation. And the kicker is if he had given me a week more notice we coulda done this without a “shady” realtor who will get 6% and I believe she is back door dealing with others for more commission. End of rant. Sorry y’all!
