Delivered water to our place is ~$150 Cdn for ~3500 gallons. Not super pricey, but not good for growing, and throwing it away makes less sense than doing what I'm doing. I'm not sure what you mean by "yard". The gardening water I use is from a small creek nearby while it lasts (the system is shut down for winter), and with melted snow later if needed. There is no other source other than trucking my own from a lake or town, or paying for Distilled or RO. Free from the creek or melted snow works better for me.

Mine is in the basement too and does a great job supplementing. Would be interesting to see the cost vs $400 a month worth of propane a month

yeah maybe since your using propane it may make a difference but for me I am on natural gas and the electric bill reflects the change… my electric bill is high all year since starting growing while gas hasn’t changed much
