Ay... ..we got the unpleasant task of Cancelling hubby's Mothers Xmas yesterday.

The SIL got corona....(Thankfully mild symptoms..)...the family were under house arrest for 2 weeks...(lockdown..)

The GDaughter was cleared to go back to school Friday....spent 10 minutes there...then a classmate was diagnosed Positive..and the whole school Year was sent home.

His Daughter said with 2 school age kids and working parents she Thinks it would be stupid to Invite her Grand Mother into the house for xmas dinner.

Safe...Sensible...and undoubtably the Right decision...but ....gawd...the disappointment for his Mother tugs your heart strings.

She is too old to appreciate the world wide problem and just kinda feels deserted.......

Must admit....after 9 months of quarantine...both of the Mothers seem to be fading faster than they would have without the pandemic.

When the historians go back over the data the collateral deaths and emotional damage will loom large. An entire generation of children will be decidedly different than what would be expected and in ways we have no ideas. Your mothers need social input that we cannot give without maybe killing them - they are victims of covid-19 without catching the virus.

Except for my awesome 2020 Photoperiod grow 2020 has SUCKED!
