Hey all, so just an update on what's going on and what we're doing:
We attempted to install an add-on yesterday (that I know works because I've installed it before on the same version) but for whatever reason, it didn't play well the way I did it. It created a huge error that was causing immediate issues with how the site performed, so I removed the installed files for it (which cleared out a majority of the errors,) but now another add-on apparently used one of the resources that I deleted (not realizing it was shared, didn't look that way at all when I was doing it, but... I guess lol.)
So we've got an add-on that is causing the issues/errors. Murphy's Law showed up and won't let us disable it like we normally do (the other issue.) So there are ways to manually/force stop the add-on software, but we're not having much luck with it so far. I've just contacted the developer of the add-on, gave him our error log and explained what I did, so we're going to hopefully get answer on how he thinks we could proceed to go forward.
The other solution may be to run a restore on a previous backup point, which means we lose a few days of data but then the site WORKS at least lol...
No awesome, clear solution here, but there are hopefully still solutions, so I will be the first to keep you guys in the loop on what's up. If we get blatantly stuck, I'll hire a tech to fix it.
Apologies for our muck-up, honest to goodness didn't expect this to go tits up, so... I apologize for what I thought was a routine task (that has been routine for years prior.)"
Aaah snap lost the key again?? Cmon cmon step out who is responsible for this??

Not the first time there have been problems like this I have lived through a number of updates, that have thrown spanners in the works and it always gets fixed in the end!
