It was def a popular jam for what I can tell about 3-4 months. But it was played A LOT from what I have been told. But yeah Roy Cox was mad dads best homie for probably 45 years or more. I got to spend a day with Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon of Double Trouble fame once with Roy. He was a crazy cool dude.

Bubble Puppy is a caracter on the kids show Bubble Guppies, wonder if that's where that name came from? My kids have the stuffed animal lol. I'll have to ask my dad if he knows of them, he was in Vietnam around that time but was and still big music guy.
