I spent a lot of time measuring things with my feet 40 paces is like 100ft for a regular sized guy and I'm not totally sure you could throw a baseball 100ft

Def not 40 paces but i damn sure could shoot it across the room and nail somebody! I can do the same thing with a coin too only a hell of a lot more velocity on a coin!
