Work almost over for the day! I am one of four lucky engineers that get to spend a week at a time dealing with all customer issues that arise outside of business hours. That was me last week. As of today, I am free of it. Next week I have off work completely.

Good timing as I have a lot of spring stuff to do

Also, the home made pickles worked out pretty well :) The sourdough starter is dead, though. Not sure what happened. I will start a new batch with larger feedings maybe this weekend.

As much as I miss making bread, I do not miss the work involved ;)

I am rather fond of a sourdough recipe that checks two important boxes: 1) Is VERY simple. Flour, Water, salt (and only a wee bit of salt). 2) Requires not a lot of hands-on time

Eventually I will be making two or three loaves a week, with leftovers getting heaved into the woods for the local critters to eat.

I’ve never seen that line about privileges before. But then again, I’m a straight white male so I guess it comes with the territory 🤷🏻‍♂️
