I tip $2-$5 bucks all the time, but all the food places we order from are less than 2 miles away. If we order from far, that's when we tip more than $5. The other day I revoked my $3 tip cause the idiot left my food on top of my mailbox. The place was less than a mile from my house
When I used to do food runs I never cared about the tips as much as the distance. Just tried to do as many deliveries as I could and that's how the money stacks up. If you expect a tip everytime and deny deliveries cause of it you are slowing down your income. I would get surprised with decent tips after delivery was completed numerous times. Sometimes people don't like to tip before the food even gets there. But then again, everything is close out here. Rarely had to go more than 5 miles.
