It's actually pornhub that shut down service for Texas because pornhub didn't want to verify age for people using the site, which i think is fucking weird to begin with. Why would they want to leave it open for minors? Why wouldn't they want to protect minors from viewing that kind of material so freely. Can't go to a titty bar or watch R rated movies without showing ID so why not tighten up regulation for something that is already such a decay on our society. Porn shouldn't be accessible like it is for minors. I don't even see how someone can be comfortable with the words "minor" and "porn" in the same sentence it's fucking wrong. It shoudnt even be up for discussion. Very shady on pornhubs part.

Not to mention their excuse for not wanting to comply is that "it will drive users to other sites" aka if other people aren't following the rules then neither will they.... very shady if ya ask me.

I mean it's gonna happen, I found my parents VHS stash when I was a kid but I wasn't stuck inside watching porn all day. The access that people have to it is not normal. Let alone minors. Im all for showing ID to watch porn, they shoulda done this sooner. If people are that embarrassed to show ID maybe they shouldn't watch it.. hiding behind the free speech thing is ridiculous.
