I'm having withdrawals, it's been a few weeks.

Wife has been cooking at home more so i can't complain....

My wife can't cook for shit. Smartest person I know and I can barely get an edible grilled cheese out of her So I cook and she cleans and we all don't have to pretend like we like whatever she spent her time and energy on

Not everyone got the cook gene!

Ms. MOG works so I do most of the cooking around here, it is a pleasure for me. I love the challenge of new dishes or old dishes in a new way. She is more than capable in the kitchen.

Some things are standard faire like tomorrows breakfast will be bacon and egg sandwiches. Made with little effort and they are fast.

Tonight's fried fish was excellent. I breaded the fish first in potato starch knocking all the loose off then into an egg/water wash and the final breading was Bob's Red Mill corn bread mix. It browned nicely in the time it took the fish to cook. My tarter sauce was nice with the lemon forward. I used some fine grated lemon zest to punch it up. The Asparagus were smothered in left over Hollandaise sauce.
