That method is garbage!
Any time i tried to do that by time stems would snap buds would be crusty! Just stab them 2 prongs into a bud until its in range and it will be on the money!

Some coconut oil is liquid! I believe unrefined coco oil is a solid and the refined is a liquid! Or visa versa i am already super stoned but i know i get the stuff thats solid and in a tub to infuse for baking! Other stuff may be good to use similar to mct oil just without the disgusting taste!

Used it in the early days for rub before we discovered Shea butter.
