Good Luck! VA docs keep licking their lips to do the extensive work they want to do to me. Too extensive and too shitty odds of success for my liking. I'm NOT going back into a fucking wheelchair.

No freaking way would I want to chance that. Any chance they'd allow you to go outside their system and see a specialist at say a major teaching hospital?

I can go outside the system since I live far from a hospital or clinic. I'm pretty sure the diag is spot on. The last eval was done at the spinal facility in Dallas. It's a large section at the hospital and they have patients from other places in the nation to help. I don't know if the odds would be any better privately.
IF the damn VA would just reauthorize Physical Therapy, acupuncture and chiropractic care, my functionality and pain would improve substantively.

Ya, orthopedic but then endocrinologist and the primary scheduled me for an appointment. Idk the primary kinda worried me he just like called and said we have to go over a couple things so we're going to have a few other people talk to you too. And I pretty much got the time and date and i have no idea y im going.

When was the last time your thyroid and vitamin D levels checked? Low levels of either can make nerve pain 'feel' worse.
