So, almost April Fools, trail's traditional start of the new rodeo. Window grow for some early budage and the starts for the greenhouse, garden, and outback. I'll fire up journal in Out Door grows.
A peek at one of the gals in last year's window........
Mom and I picked up that and the chest freezer, plus charcoal and such, along with a 2lb sirloin to split, Brussel sprouts (his favorite), potatoes, blue oyster mushrooms, and a nice Cab. Oh, and a chocolate ganache cheesecake topped with raspberries. He was super duper excited, though before he got out there and opened the hatch to mom's car he was grumbling hard about being put to work like that (made him clean the backyard/patio and sweep and mop the kitchen while I was gone ) on his birthday lol.
Freezer is unpacked and sitting to let the coolant settle, I'll get it up and running tonight. Having a little sesh with my WTF2 and then we're gonna go get the grill put together. Pray for me, y'all know how hubby gets with these sorts of projects. I'd do it myself but he for some reason always forgets that I'm far more handy than he is.
@Mañ'O'Green what do you think for the sirloin? Marinade? Dry season? Think I'm going to roast the potatoes on the grill with onion, olive oil, and sea salt & cracked pepper in foil, and probably a balsamic roasted Brussel sprouts. Mushrooms will of course be sautéed in a white wine butter reduction cause that's my favorite lol, then served on top of the sirloin. If they're going in a marinade it'll need to be soon as its nearly 4 already on the right coast. My allergies are awful right now so I've got some killer brain fog at the moment.
