But its free and still adds par light value if not the “perfect spectrum”, i guess im weird but i was actually planning on buying something in the supplemental UV/IR market. Its exactly what ive been looking for in a compact package. Alot of the supplemental lighting in those spectrums is meant for huge tents and wont fit in a 2x2 so im a happy camper for sure! It could have been a sticker and id be happy. Im not very competitive by nature, but winning anything at all feels good! I needed that boost too! So whats going on with the AFN monthly raffle giveaways? Any idea what the April box will look like?

Those lights put off a bunch of heat if you notice it has a large case that it's in with fans for cooling cause it gets hot

To be effective uv and ir need to be high quality diodes of the proper spectrum and they have to be added in a ratio to the amount of light you are already putting out! Its not something u add willy nilly and expect it to work like it could! Thats why people that build their own lights and use it will have led strips of nothing but all white diodes so they can add in the other at the correct amount! Low end light manufacturers that add them just to add them tends to create more heat but gives no added benefits!
