Yep! Was poking around to seeing if anyone else had been stumped too and if they had a solution. Defoliating defiantly helps! My Hvac sux in the basement. but that would be the solution along with ducting outside. Was gonna put in a mini split system in, but don't know how long I'll be in this property. Reding the the whole HVC would be 17-20 grand for this house

You need a booster fan to bring in low rh air from the lung room.. I have a 8” ac infinity raxial fan hooked to a inkbird to kick in when rh is too high for the exhaust fan to keep up.. I run 1 70 pint dehumidifier in my lung keeping the lung room 5% lower then I want.. I set it to auto 40-45% most of the time

Same bro! Usually have exhaust hooked to inkbird and raxial booster fan for intake but when rh is staying hard to keep up with i put exhaust fan on nonstop and then put the intake on the humidity controller to pull in air in combo with exhaust to drop rh!

Yeah very true but pretty sure AC units also dehumidify the air too.. So it should be a wash and the dehumidifier shouldn’t need to run as much

If u turn AC to dehumidify its no longer running as an AC and cooling!
