If you can get a comparison of the intensities, that'd be the main concern (in my humble opinion.) The hanging distance/height distance may have to be adjusted depending on what the previous light source was at the same distance.

I have this app on my phone called lux. I know it may not be accurate but at least I can use that to compare intensity. Thank you great idea! Didn't even think about it till you said it.

Get the photone app and pay the 6$ for leds to be unlocked and that will get you very close especially if calibrate it to your light but it also works really well default on Iphone No experience with android
